You can almost put a line through WC now. No Nat and no Gaff too much to cover.
Settle down, Kennedy to come back in, Shuey is getting fitter.

Dirty ******* campaigner. Thirty-five off the ball? Hate the prick before and hate him even more now.

Eagles fans clapping him too?

But even as bad, Freo players not going in and absolutely ******* him up? Ballas... go out with some style and reclaim some pride from Freo fans, go out on a high and smack this campaigner out.
An eye for a tooth?

I want to get an idea on neutral supporters opinions on the cheering for Gaff by WC fans after the incident.

I'm a Cats fan. I don't think you can reasonably characterise the group. I'm sure some were cheering him because they're gross people who love violence, but I'm also sure that some were cheering him for the reasons that others have articulated, e.g. showing support for someone showing contrition, solidarity, etc. I don't like the gross people but I think it's okay to support someone who knows they did the wrong thing.

I was there they didn't show it up on the screen at all, so all the crowd saw was your players roughing him up for the rest of the game (fair enough as well). But how are they suppose to know what happened otherwise?

Brayshaw wasn't hit in congestion and was on the ground with trainers, did they not show him on the sideline with blood streaming from his face?

Not an unreasonable explanation but it surprises me that it was widely missed.

No good playing the vicitim after you victimized someone yourself. Accept what you did and cop it like a man and if you can’t do that then don’t do it to begin with

Eagles PR machine went straight into automatic overdrive to paint Gaff as the victim. That will ramp up big time tomorrow when the lawyers come in.

Perfect example a few weeks ago when their staffer went gaga at the camos in the underground car park after NicNats knee. Simpson and the club flew to his defence and blamed the camos and then after a public reaction, had to backflip and apologise. It's learned behavior by the most arrogant club in the comp.

They can’t let him play in a grand final if they lose their first final and make it. He will get 7,
Give him 8 then... just in case of worst case scenario and there is also a drawn GF!

There should be absolutely no chance of this coward dog playing again this year!

Nope. Played his last game for wc. Will be at North next year.

So basically do to him what he did to Brayshaw?! you sir are a genius. We should adopt that as a theme around the world.
Actually punching someone in the face unexpectedly is quite different from getting physical with someone who is expecting it. There is a reason that the term "coward punch" has been coined.

So he’s belted one of his mates and sent him to hospital and that makes it better?

No, my comment was to all the people calling Gaff a dog or coward and saying that he purposely hit Brayshaw, it as a huge mistake that Andrew will live with for ever but no way did he mean to hit him that way.

What did he do to play the victim / not cop it like a man? I'm assuming (but please correct me if I'm wrong) that it was the tears, but gee, I reckon that's mostly a physiological thing that is pretty hard to control.

Beyond that, his response on the Foxtel interview after the match indicates to me that he is entirely willing to cop it (it being a substantial suspension; earlier its being the hits he copped after the incident—which, let me say, were totally warranted, and I particularly enjoyed Michael Johnson's effort). I'm not so sure what it means to do so "like a man" though?

He did mean to hit him. It’s not like he accidentally threw a punch.

All you’re saying is he didn’t mean to hurt him that bad. He took a swing at a bloke, he clearly meant to hit him somewhere.

So again, you’re saying gaff belted one of his mates?

I wouldn't be surprised if they start blaming it on victorian clubs or the distance they have to travel

No way he meant to hit hi I'm that way?!?!?

What was he doing, trying to do, ruffle his hair?

Houli got four for a backhander, running away and not even looking at his opponent.

Take yourself to the bench mate.
