in an unbelievable turn of events..repeat,unbelievable..west coast turned on a rare show of skill,speed and pressure for four full qtrs to somehow confuse and rankle the big pussys into a 1 point loss..wce played endless circleball often breaking into a singing conga line,annoying and teasing the cats with their chorus line antics..the cats often lost their pants in the heat of action allowing emotions to spill over,allowing kerr wirra and lecras to break thru the can-can displays to boot repeated goals..
woosha+suma attired in fishnet stockings celebrated in the box singing to petshop boys..
another strange week in footy.

oh and it looked like another thrashing with geelong winning by 54 points 14mins into the 3rd qtr, but it magicly turned around with kerr leading a west coast charge and we somehow manage to win the game by 3 points!

Some of Geelong's passages of play in the second quarter, yesterday, were as close to perfect football as I think I have ever seen. It was a pleasure to watch. It will not be so pleasant when we are on the receiving end this weekend, however.

Where is crowley at Lach?

I mean he hasnt been great this year, is occasionally a decent tagger but has Priddis like disposal and decision making and will be 26 when he next plays - which isnt exactly old but is he part of the future?

On topic, my heart says we will pull out all stops, give a decent showing and maybe benefit from a Geelong side with a few outs and maybe not much to play for. My head says that we will get absolutely caned by one of the better sides most of us have seen.

Fortunately, we often struggle against sides with mid-sized goal kicking forwards and Geelong only have Johnson, so that should be no problem

The head says that we could play reasonably well and still lose by 10 goals - they are a fair bit better than us.

Where is crowley at Lach?

I mean he hasnt been great this year, is occasionally a decent tagger but has Priddis like disposal and decision making and will be 26 when he next plays - which isnt exactly old but is he part of the future?

Not quite sure where he's heading to be honest. in 2006 he was a good tagger who could hurt them going the other way.
Recently he had the decision making and skills of a drunk guinea pig.
He was just starting to improve a bit when he went down.

We need him, though. Couple him with DeBoer who could be more the stopper and we could see him play more attacking I think
