Don't go call people w***ers, this is a forum for people to express their opinions and supporters are passionate people.

If you disagree with any of the following points on our first half you are either deluded or living in a fantasy world

1. We were flat-footed and lazy... indicated by our midfields clearances, hard ball gets and useage of the ball. This is highly clear by how when we actually are not lazy and play the game we are very competitive - see the second half!
2. Finger pointing had begun amongst the backline..
3. Ratten was bemused and appeared unsure in the coaches box.
4. Our decision making was appalling.
5. Russell was being slaughtered and losing confidence by the second.... finally when the midfield kicked into gear in the second half and we finally put in some pressure on the contest he could breathe easier and started to play with a lot more assurity.
6. Our kicking efficiency, decision making and pressure in the first half stunk... all key indicators to another loss.

Good for you for being proud of our first half efforts and not showing any disappointment or passion for our pathetic performance.

I must admit I did jump the gun and 6 weeks of frustration had built up and the first half was as bad as anything we have dished up in a long time
Very happy the boys turned it around but it was still against a side who has won 4 games all year
Next week is the real test
I know what we are capable of so why we don't display it more often is a mystery.

Despite winning tonight I don't feel confident we'll win 1 out of the last 4 games.

Today was a get out of jail card, really the youngsters should be ramping up now instead of scrounging for wins like tonight, they need to realise that THEY are going to be playing finals and not let bloody Richmond and Essenscum piss of the parade, and treat the games as such.

The Bummers are now up, and we all know how we always drop our bundle to them.

Richmondo should be a win.

Pies and Cats will be warming up for their flag aspirations so they will be out to make statements against our classy players like Joseph, Bower, Walker, Gibbs, Scotland, Jamison, Bower, johnson, Waite et. al..I expect terrible humilations like the one we got against bloody Adeliade late last year until the boys realise that they CAN play finals this year and even win a few..or maybe they wanna go off to the Booze earlier, I know Houla will defintely be hanging to start running around hotel lobbies in his dacks instead of on a footy field!

Gibbs needs a kick in the bum.

Aren't we the worst side for turnovers in the league. Can't go for in finals for playing like that.

I expect pre-season will be working on skills.

I've always tried to be as objective as possible with anything I say... yes some comments were over the top by some but tell me if you were at the game at half time... would you feel confident with how the team was playing... with each stupid descision and poor skills don't tell me you wouldn't under your breathe have said something along the lines of - "what the hell are we doing?", "where are our skills gone?", "where is the passion?"

In fact my post #8 if you disagree with anything I said in it about us playing lazy and being flat footed... and Russell having his confidence shattered by playing on an in-form player...

Anyway the only comment I made that was perhaps a little unfair was ellard.. his tagging role was alright.. but the possessions (little of which he got) weren't too flash. In fact our whole team was not playing flash and we were playing the bottom side!

Well been a member of this forum for a few years now.. and some good quality posters have been lost.. because there are some posters who think because they spend 24/7 on this board that they have some divine right to always be right and anyone that disagrees with them or has a bit of passion or something to say on an open forum (as long as it's done tactfully and non-abusive).

Seriously to the tool calling people w***ers.... or for some to be banned... etc etc... pass on the tattslotto numbers for next-week for if after our last 5 weeks you were impressed with how we played and after the first half you knew we'd win... you've got clairvoyant powers!

im really happy for the 4 points but i also dont believe its too much to get excited about.
there was the positive of running down WC at subi which i can only hope gives us some confidence. i get sad and depressed watching us atm

And don't ever hint at me not being passionate because I don't blow my load in the first quarter if we are performing poorly.

There's a way to act and there's a way to act. Be passionate, sure. Love the club and want it to succeed, sure - that's what we all want.

But don't come on here IN THE FIRST QUARTER of a game when we have been performing poorly and start throwing wild insults at the club and players. Because, as you've seen, it'll come back to bite you on the arse and make you look like a tool.

I never said I was impressed with the way we performed, and I never said I thought we'd win. What I didn't do, however, is come on here and make a complete and utter moron of myself like some of you have managed to do.

If you can't handle criticism of your posts, then don't post on here bagging the club/players/coaches/staff etc etc etc before the match is over.

My passion for the club dates back 40+ years. It is that passion that has got me through the hard times we have experienced, always remembering that our club delivered success over a long period of time & we were very blessed from 1968-1995.

The AFL's quaint version of socialism stopped us in our tracks & thanks to our inability to adapt to this form of socialism, we become one of the worst clubs in the competition's history. To be on the verge of playing our second successive finals series, after coming from so far back is a credit to those who have been rebuilding the club in recent years.

There are going to be some setbacks along the way (Fev's disgraceful behaviour at the Brownlow Medal has hurt us somewhat), but we are definitely moving in the right direction & are doing so a lot quicker than many would have expected, remembering Gerald Healy's prediction that it would take 10 years to bounce back from our salary cap sanctions.

I do admit on I over reacted but surely you can't think our last 6 weeks was not frustrating for even us die hard supporters.
I don't have a personal vendetta against anyone, I was just responding to some knob who referred to me being a w***er for having an opinion
I, like every Blues supporter want to see us back winning premierships and playing regular finals
P.S. I did have a strange feeling when I sent the original post we might comeback and win so I did watch the 2nd half and cheered as hard as I have all year
