we got Collingwood this week. Minus Tarrant and Buckley. then Bullies the next week! This is without Johnson and Johnso n amongst others. If we can get over the line against these two teams and be 4-2 that will really help us out at the end of the season, as i believe we will go on a mid-season winning spree!

Stegelator, please never ever get too far ahead of yourself when it comes to AFL football!

Collingwood will not be an easy task next week on the rebound of an embarrassing defeat, and we actually don't have the Dogs the week after ... we have the Swans at the MCG, who are an impressive top 4 team as their win proved today.

One week at time, Bomber fans...

Bomber Boy, please never ever get too far ahead of yourself when it comes to AFL football!

One week at time is being far too presumptuous

Apparently we are going to 'thrash' the scum next week.

I mean FFS. They were **** today, but we don't have the best record when it comes to playing sides that are rated as 'underdogs' in big games.

Perspective FFS!

And two weeks ago, people were talking about 1-7.

Good to be optimistic, but calm down.
but have a look who we are playing over the next few weeks:

Collingwood: minus Tarrant and Buckley, Sydney at MCG, Bulldogs, Adelaide, Geelong, Hawthorn, Freo over here,

all i was saying is that the fixture is looking better than it did after round 2!

I don't care if coll line up with 22 rhyce shaws, it will not be an easy game. (Though it would be highly amusing.) I'm not getting fooled by their performance today.

As for Sydney, it's not the early 1990's anymore. They are a good team. Thank god your not one of the coaching staff.

The rest we should account for. Except adelaide. The only game they will win all season is against us.

Agreed...The last thing we need to do is get ahead of ourselves. We have won two in a row, that doesn't make us worldbeaters....But it is a start.

I'm not saying that's it's going to be a walk in the park. It's anzac day, Collingwood will lift. But it's a should-win game.

Sydney don't play at the G much, it will be unfamiliar ground to them but they should beat us....

And I ain't confident against Adelaide either, given our record over there. Except the point i'm trying to get across is the fact that the fixture is a hell of a lot better than it looked two weeks ago.

Worry about Collingwood first. They have too much pride to just roll over.

On paper, yeah, we should flog 'em, but football doesn't work that way. You have to play the game.

Looking forward to Round 6, I've never been to an Essendon-Swans game.

As much as i agree with m29 next week will be tough dispite thier injury troubles, i think you are being a little cynical over the whole thing... look on the positive we have had more injuries than most and are still placed 9th dispite having a % of less than 50 at one point...

they may be available for that game, but it would be risky to bring back 3 players at once who have missed a bit of footy. against a team as good as the swans anyway.
