regardless of the result we need a hard, tough and committed performance against the swans. it's been a long year for the boys with little rewards.

a poor effort where heads drop and second efforts are non existent could really hurt us going forward.

i'm not expecting a win but i will be happy if we give the swans a bit of scare.

as it is the last game some would be saying that we haven't got much to play for, but a solid performance with some excitement thrown in, or even an unlikely win could do wonders for carlton.

go blues :thumbsu:

Agree with you there Kooley. Not expecting us to beat the Swans at the SCG, but a good performance will give the players and supporters some confidence going into next year.

At the risk of being howled down and being called un-Australian, I think we need a competitive loss - but losing and getting picks 1, 17, 18/19 will do far more for this club in the coming years than one more solitary win this season giving us picks 2, and 18.

Can't see the boys in two weeks time sitting around slapping themselves on the back any harder because they beat Sydney.
They will look back at opportunities lost against the Doggies and West coast (among others), and also take some pride from being more competitive, but will be bursting at the seams with two young guns lining up next to each other next year.

Don't tank it boys, but go hard and scare the life out of those swannies.
Tip - Swans by 1 point, battered and bruised for their first final.
