Opinion Wearing the white kit

Very very strange decision - the home jumper with the white shorts would probably have been my pick given that we don't really clash with Hawthorn's colours at all.

Would have thought white shorts with the purple jumper would have provided enough of a clash.

Anyway, don't care what we're wearing, as long as we win.

Guys, call the club and suggest for them to take the purple jumpers anyway. Sure, you can't play in them and it's presumptive as hell, but the last thing you want is a St Kilda-esque situation.

Don't worry about it, I was angry in 2010 that we were wearing the white clash strip but once the ball was bounced you could have them wearing this and it still won't matter because you're clubs in the big one.

And as people are saying if you win you can change jumpers anyway.

Good 'disappointment' to have.

It's not an abomination, like the woeful away jumpers some sides have. Freo's worn white for a decade and will keep wearing white, the Dockers use it for half the games in a season as well. Plus the white, in a Granny, might stir up some South Fremantle memories for some...

No worries. Would've preferred purple, but whatever.

You are all taking this pretty well. If West Coast was forced to play a GF in their white strip I would be absolutely gutted. Winning a flag immortalises the jumper forever, you want that to be your 'nothing' white strip? Disgraceful decision by the AFL.

Regular jumpers with coloured shorts... why do we have to wear white shorts?

ATEOTD it's kind of "so what as long we we're there", but it always seems to be a case of one rule for us, and one for everyone else.

Much prefer to be in all purple, but I'll live with it.
