I think it's funny that we're getting a bigger crowd at our mid week training session than many clubs get to their games.

Big as the Crowd as the Semi between Dogs and Swans;)

In M24 bottom level...most of the games I go to I end up standing - but I think for the GF they may police it fairly tightly - worth a shot though...better than top deck for mine - but everyone is different.

Here are some pics from the training session:

From all reports Ball is looking fit and healthy to play GF day. :thumbsu:

Went to training and watched Luke Ball almost exclusively

Was v happy with what I saw. No one was full pace but he stretched out as much as anyone

My observations were

He jumped freely off his L leg going for overhead marks without hesitation.

Accelerated off the mark without hesitation

Stretched out when kicking on the run

Took set shots for goal from 30-40m with full kicking action

After seeing him I am confident he has cramped rather than sustained any muscle damage. If he had it would be v hard to be doing what he did so soon after the injury

He will be playing Sat IMHO

Nose bleed in Q are the best seats in the house. Always have been.

Just picked up my seats. 6 seats in Ponsford pocket Q29 row A. Agree these give a good view and still close to ground but not the best seats. 2nd level front rows have you much closed to action. Any where level 2 is fantastic

Was concentrating on Ball but watch Presti some of the time. Moving freely but as no one at top pace hard to say more. I think he is fit to play but lack of match conditioning may count against him. I think they will opt for Brown

Presti and Leon joint J-Mac, Medders, Lockyer, Buckley et al after the session ended. That suggests to me that we may go in unchanged.

Leroy and Trav stayed on the other end to have a few shots at goal. Dawes wasn't there, maybe reward for straight kicking.

Harry, Didak and Trav all looked pretty sharp today. Davis looked good out there.

About a month ago I found out I would have to move out of my current address at the end of September so I took the Thursday and Friday before the grand final off to move house on the Thursday and (hopefully) go to training and the parade on the Friday.

So glad the boys held up their end of the bargain!

I got to training late this morning due to sleeping in, but the view when I got off the train at Richmond station warmed my heart.

To see Gosch's paddock, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the "black and white army" was a grand site.

Oh yeah, and Ball, Presti and Leon all trained strongly too, from what I could see.

I'll be back on Friday (I'll set the alarm this time) and then on to the parade.

Is fridays training still on?? says it is on the cfc website, but the ABC news said todays training was the pies last for the week...
