Appears that there is a mexican stand off over the terms of the contract essendon has put to Sheedy...only 2 years sheeds wants longer....what would you buggers say if the tigers were to offer him a 5 year deal...i would think if your abysmal formline continues that the Board would think twice about matching a long term deal and may feel it is time to address the succession plan NOW....

Well after sheeds and the coaching panels performance yesterday he couldn't ask for too much.

The setup they went with in the first half yesterday was very average, Lucas down back on Miller was a poor one cause Lucas play's too loose, Miller just floats around between centre and 50 out while Lucas sat back in defensive 50, Bolton was a perfect match for him as Miller's not strong physically, it also took away Lucas as a half forward target where we were destroyed in the first half.
Then to have him do the kick in's, again taking away him as a target was poor, Ramanauskas was the obvious option.

These moves were made at half time and i thought we were the better team from then on but it was blatantly obvious that these moves needed to be made earlier.

Abysmal form? Two consecutive losses against 2nd and 3rd on the ladder... I had no idea we were in such a rut at 8-5 and 6th on the ladder!

100% correct. Exactly what I thought. But to add to that - why was Bradley taken off. When he went off the ground we had no target across half forward. He wasn't doing a great deal but was providing a target to kick to.

Abysmal form would be losing more than 5 in a row. We haven't yet lost 3 in a row for years.

Though that may come to an end in a weeks time when Norf pants us. Unlike other clubs boards though, I doubt ours would be too worried.

Whilst we are playing shyte, I think that after we won 5 in a row after losing 2 in a row badly (much worse than these last two) at the start of the year, that suddenly changing contract agreements is abit premature.
