Well done to Adelaide on a great season. I'm extremly proud and can't wait until next year :D

The only thing the crows really need to work on is their efficieny inside forward 50. They'll fix that over the pre season and be ready to tackle 2006 :)

Yes, I am very proud of the boys.

Its been a great year. We have exceeded all expectations and nearly made the Grand Final.

We have a lot to be thankfull for in 2005 and every reason to be optomistic about 2006.

Go Crows!

k
xx

We can be very proud of the season that the crows have had this year. Who would've expected for us to reach this far. It's disappointing that the crows didn't go further however this year has seen minimal injuries to the players, a great coach, skill and confidence in the backbone players (we know who they are) and we've managed to break quite a few records.

Glass is more than half full here for 2006 :D

What about our ruckman if Clarke retires

An interesting predicament. Hudson and Biglands are both AFL standard but obviously we won't have the Rock for most of the season.
Do we fast track Maric or try and pick up someone with a little experience on a one year contract? Personally I think we will (and should) try to maintain Clarke on our list.

Don't know if you can say 'well done on a great season'.

We had a golden opportunity to win a flag this year yet completely blew it against the Saints and then again two weeks later against West Coast.

Be proud of our progress and what we achieved in comparison to expectations, but don't be happy with the end result or year as a whole - West Coast will now have the pleasure of rumbling over a Halless Swans to one of the easiest flags in over a decade, but it so easily could've been us.

Why dwell on 'ifs' instead of focusing on the 'coulds'?

I agree.

Well with most of it anyway.

I think any year you make a preliminary final is a worthy achievement. Hard as it is to swallow now, I'll think we'll look back on 2005 as a good year, a missed opportunity certainly but still a good year. A la 1993.

For what its worth, I expect Sydney to end their 72 year drought.

The annoying bit is you can't help but feel we're a better side than the Swans.

Exactly. Hence my post.

At the very least we should be contesting next week - we're not.

Happy with or proud of that? Not one bit.

It has been a very good year for the AFC and have achieved alot developed some good players and 2006 beckons.

Once we lost to St Kilda it was all up hill from their but we cant dewl on it now.

I would like to personally thank all AFC supporter's have been very very supportive this year, stick with the AFC cause we are going to crack it very soon.

Neil Craig well done as your first year in the top job you have dished out the humble pie to a majority of AFC supporter's but we are 100% behind you :thumbsu:

Contratulations guys for a magnificent year. You certainly didn't give up today and put the sh ts up us towards the end. Considering the experts had you lot picked to collect the wooden spoon it was a great season for you and you can walk with your heads held high.....

All the best next year.......

You really are a bit strange aren't you. You agree with that, but not mine when I said basically the same thing.

Look Drummond we are all p*ssed off about today but there is a way of putting up points about you're anger etc etc a lot better than what you did.

& Stenglein was on the Roo all the game.

Have been called worse than strange so what ever.

Give up Drummond you are like me you aint in the boys club

Maybe that's it you want so hard to be in the "boys" club.

What do you want me say that you have been proved right in that we have had a miserable season or "wow" even though we didn't take the spoon we lost a home final & then got beat in a prelim & failed to make a granny after finishing on top the ladder,

Ok go ahead enjoy you're moment of glory & i'll look forward to you're next riveting thoughts on how our club has performed or even better what you predict for our clubs future in the next 5 years or so.

Can we settle down? We don't want to create a schism amidst the Adelaide board. Everyone is obviously ********ed about the game but we do not need this division amongst us. Lighten up fellas!
