Well played boys...

Whats up with Bullen?

Murphey was great JJ again good.

Bolton worst game in a while still wasnt to bad... Jobe showed a bit making space on half back... how much time was Dyson on the ground?

MJ was appalling in the first 3 quaters although Brad Johnson was on fire... Hille was good again as was Allen...

Rioli great in the frist half as was Solly....

Lloyd bad game still kicked 5 so ill take it... Hird was good not as his best though. McPhee again provided great run... i think Welsh is a little down on form but still did a job... Fletcher again good... why is Rama playing back pocket....

Phew :p

GG all

Thought Bolts was good - showed some dash coming off half back. He did get beaten a few times in the body on body but by my thinking he shouldn't be up against guys like Darcy in these situations, and this highlights 1 of our 2 major weaknesses at the moment. The need for another strong key defender.

Lucas is too much value up forward, and with Fletch taking 1 big forward either Bolton or Wellman have to take the other, and they are flankers, not key backmen. This is why i really want to see Henno get a run injury free, or Sam Hunt to live up to the hype.

jobe showed a bit?

Showed that he needs more time in the VFL, shocking performance!

We dropped mercuri for this guy?

He may be showing lots of touch in the VFL, but under pressure he continually coughed it up.

bring back mercs!

Unfortunatly we are not in a position to be able to carry players.

We dropped mercuri, who did okay last week, for a guy that had 9 disposals and 2 that were effective. The rest were clangers / direct turnovers.

Shouldn't that be 'fortunately'? We have players who, once promoted, are doing the job for us. There is no more need to play 'name' players if they are out of form. Mercuri would have only played a half of decent footy for the season, so the decision to drop him was a correct one. The outlook for Misiti is a little better as he does provide the team with something off the bench. McVeigh and Cupido? Well, they have to earn their spot in the side. Play a good game down at Werribee today and put your hand up. Prove to the match committee that you want to be a part of this side.

I disagree. Half a game of footy would have been better than what Jobe put out on friday night.

He needs more time to develop as a player and learn to be more calm under pressure.
Next week will be a big test for us over there. I think he should go back to the VFL for rnd 8.
