Brett "Birdman" Burton was at his dynamic best and I must admit, that little handpass raised a laugh.

That said, an impeccable second half by the Crows proved to be too good in the end. You guys were admittedly slow of the blocks, but came up with trumps at the end.

Good luck also to Roo next Friday for his 300th.

A surprisingly good game of footy for mine, plenty of highlights.

At least we kept you guys interested for longer than usual. I'm reasonably happy with our performance.

And we even bagged a massive 11 goals. How many teams have kicked more than that against you this year?

Looking through your posts on the Hawks Board, calling our Moderator an "ignorant prat" for one is not what I call "constructive arguement". It's all well and good to visit other Boards, but attempting to 'dampen' spirits by playing down the extremely slight possibility of a win, insulting the moderator and, as you admitted, adoping a patronizing tone when addressing Hawk fans in your posts isn't the way to go.

The Hawks have some good young talent & are on the way up (unlike a couple of other Melbourne clubs).

I'm sorry I forgot kane, maybe it's time for another of your arrogant tosser rants about how you are a moderator and how much that means, and how it's not fair that we sometimes treat you like a dweeb and should give you more respect, because you are after all (insert theme music) a moderator? it's been a couple of months, maybe another one is due?

I haven't seen Pilhawk say anything unreasonable on our board & only noticed him being unfairly attacked by yourself.

Generally speaking, I actually was being sincere when I congratulated the Crows Cro-Mo, so in that regards what you said was unfounded.

I had just looked back through your posts and found that without looking at the context at which you said it. Admittedly Gary 'taunted' you, so in that regards you were entitled to repond, so I apologize.

Generally speaking we Hawk fans weren't going to 'give it back' to you as you say, we were just going to ridicule those, Rayven in particular, who felt the need to come to our board and troll. What you were doing wasn't trolling but it's needless to say that you weren't being productive towards Hawthorns cause last weekend.

Anyhow, I like posting on this board because it's a well moderated board with alot of AFL and OT related issues.

And Iam in admiration of the Hawks development program...from a club going no-where a couple of seasons ago and making some very ordinary in-house decisions on player contracts....you guys have turned it around...some great recruiting (and I sincerely believe you really did trump Richmond last draft) and some astute appointments will see your club a powerhouse again very shortly.
