Despite what some might say about us not putting you away early, I reckon you deserved the win.
Better positioning, more desperate, and polished quick hands at every breakdown in the second half. Hase and Schammer were great when it really mattered.
I'll save my whinging regarding some of the Eagles players and our still disfunctional forwardline for the Eagles board.
I hope you continue to apply that sort of work-rate, desperation and effort each week cause that's what it takes week in, week out.

Shifting Hill into the square (at times) in the second half and creating the mismatch with Priddis was an excellent move. You guys were clinical and had more players taking the game on and won as a result.

Thanks E87 , there is nothing new about the highlighted bit though, I watch the game with a Sydney supporter and I said at the start "The eagles can't kick" .

That point where the ball ping-ponged between the Eagles' pocket astounded me. I thought 'they are having a laugh with us', like a cat does with a half dead mouse it's caught.

The Eagles don't yet have the fitness and discipline to keep up that zone for four quarters. If they did I reckon they would have done us like St Kilda.
