Anyone else hear him?

Basically talked about getting a Life Membership, and how they go around selecting players and how stoked he is to get a Cameron Ling type late in drafts.

Also says Tenace has bulked up but hasnt lost any speed. H is having a massive preseason (Possible KPP spot?) and Bartel is getting even better :D

The first of many puff-up media snippets.

Welcome to the deadest time of the year for footy.

Thats great to hear, had a little shiver when I heard H is having a big pre-season, dont exactly know why :D

H will need to have a big pre season as i c him as the likely replacement for graham this year.

Yeah definetely, H needs to stand up and be counted this year for sure. He might not be on of our best players but hell need to have a good year if we are to emulate the feats of this season I feel.

H wouldnt even be able to play CHF in a local league let alone AFL.. He drops the easiest marks and is so slow and cant kick to a lead.. wed be better off redrafting brett spinks

He did alright when played in the forward line for a decent amount of time in some games this year, so he might be able to do it if he plays there week in week out. Personally I still think Gardiner should play as a link man type of CHF, he's a fantastic mark and has very good mobility, could cause some headaches.

He is a fair mark, decent player. Captained the ACT Rams(?) from memory, good height. Poor kicking and decision making at times but if he can put some weight on, who knows?

His poor kicking was a problem when passing out of half back, but hes a fairly decent set shot.

Wouldnt mind seeing McCarthy take CHF. Has a great leap and mark and is fairly agile for a KPP.

not to mention the fact he cant kick.
Wrong everyone can kick, just not well. Nothing that a preseson of Kicking cant fix. ;)

I still think that he "could" possibly be the link for us.

The guys 22, if he cant kick well now, there's not much hope for him. It keeps getting said hell leanr how to kick etc etc, but it just hasnt improved.

Most KPP really start coming on at 21. Its true that his skill may lack polish, but i still think a good preseason of solid kicking could possibly turn his skills around.

Gardiner and Playfair are the two that have impressed me the most and should continue to develope into decent players.

Most people dont realise that kicking for goal isnt really about technique but more about confidence. Ben Graham could slot 90/100 at training yet would miss sitters in a game.

Lonergan and McCarthy are on their last legs, if they dont fire its curtains.

My Prediction is that Charlie, H and Mackie will all be there at 2006, even if they dont improve significantly, cant same the same for the other two :(

Dont write Londergan off just yet. Hes been too skinny to get a shot in the afl but as far as VFL performances have gone hed be ahead of McCarthy and Playfair in terms of ability up forward.

H at CHF is not that bad.

If we move the ball quickly we can bring it in through Mackie, Haynes, Gardiner and if we get held up we will just need the big Otter to present.

At worst he can be the new Mensch for S.Johnson, Chapman and Ablett to feed off.

Exactly, if he were to prvide a solid contest all the time and the ball spill to ground chances are one of our smalls will pick it up.

agree with you on all points you made there skywalk. the development of charlie, h and mack might just be the key to us winning the '05 flag.
