See Fagan getting asked questions by reporter walking to his car yesterday.....absolute deer in the headlights.....hes making Trigg look half decent.
Whatever advice they’re getting for managing communication this year has been very, very ordinary.

Maybe we should hire collective minds to give them a stance that makes them feel confident when confronting the media.

For all those people who keep trying to pretend we don't have a player retention problem;

2010 - Nathan Bock
2011 - Jack Gunston
Phil Davis
2012 - Kurt Tippett
2015 - Patrick Dangerfield
2017 - Jake Lever
Charlie Cameron
2018 - Mitch McGovern

Considering that we pretty much lose 1 first 22 player a year on average, we would have to be the worst in the AFL for player retention.

That's just player retention, sadly our problems also go far deeper than that.

Worse thing is the age of the last three you’ve mentioned.

Agree Fagan should be front and center to communicate what's going on. Burton, Hass deserve all the criticism. Clarke and Campo are a bit stale and should move on for both the club and their own benefit. But I dont feel Pyke deserves some of the roasting he gets. On several occasions he has been pretty honest. Unfortunately he is one bloke amongst a group. Regardless of his title of head coach, unless he is given power to make decisions, we will never see the true potential of the bloke, unfortunately we will see him highly criticized for a group decision even if he is against it. Pyke should be willing to walk out because ultimately it's his reputation that will take a beating for everyone else decisions.

You have to have other options to move on.

I don't think our marketing is that bad - our PR is awful though

The marketing/membership team are terrible. They're the reason our banners are vanilla (they constantly rejecting the good ones the CSG provide). A very vanilla team with little to no sports marketing expertise They make Burton as fitness coach look genius.

Anyone tried calling the membership team in the past 12 months? Always takes at least 2 calls to get through to someone.

Now, having said that, are we rotten to the core? Definitely not We've had a bad season. Hawthorn had a bad season last year and went straight back to top 4 this year. No reason we can't do the same next year.

Fagan keeps up his end. The fact we hired a CEO outside of footy just left the monkeys to run the asylum. Jettison some utensils like Burton or Don’t reelection Roo. Might get something happening. Chapman can gagf yrs ago.
There’d be a reason why the cushy board can’t be touched in elections hey. The supporters have been pidgin holed.

ha ha Fagan what a loser. They really do go out of their way to create bad press.

Burn the place to the ground and start again.

Problem is after ‘coming close’ to winning a Grand Final they’re reluctant to burn it down. They’ll tell themselves they just need to tinker.
