There was a bit of interest in this with more posters wanting to be involved than there are teams so, unfortunately, the below posters missed out. To ensure everyone gets a turn these posters will automatically be given a spot in a second mock draft closer to the draft proper

A reminder that we are only doing the first 3 rounds and whilst live trading of picks is possible we’ll only be using current year picks - no future pick trading
At the speed the first one's going this might be a bit optimistic...

So if Gold Coast do match, they will effectively have, after their four picks are wiped and later picks rise 3 spots, picks 26,33,40 & 52 which gives them 1,200pts or 1,000pts short. I don't think they can match for Uwland because without their future 1st, I don't think they now get the available 1,167 pts deficit (which is the max) they should only get 331pts (equivalent mid 2nd and 3rd round picks). I don't see them offering up future picks for points in this year because they are already short a 1st rounder. Also even if they did offer a F2 it means they have less points deficit available anyhow and I don't see any teams willing to offer up the 650pts extra to move up to 15.

It's Checkmate if they want both players

Haha ffs I apologise guys, big night last night… I will match the bid on Patterson, ideally I’d trade 15 and 18 out for more points, but I’d imagine that makes this a lot more complicated but if I am allowed, who would I be proposing trades to for example? Whoever has Essendon’s picks… let’s talk business.

Essendon and North are your best options

15 to North for 25 and 26, 18 to Essendon for 21 and 27 would be my offers.
That a pass from the Drug Rats. I lose 27 for a 3 pick upgrade which is
  1. Not worth it
  2. If you do the Norf picks, 27 will come in anyway
  3. Lions will wait and offer more

Edit. You would need to add in for me the Melbourne 2026 R2 to even start the discussions and that would be for 15 not 18

Should note that Essendon have way too many picks compared to list spots + their 20’s picks will get eaten up on Sweid / HKE bids. I’ll throw in a F3 at most.

F3 has to be my own one back. If so, we have a deal. If your own F3, no deal
