Under normal circumstances I'd be disappointed in not getting to see two champions of the game go about their stuff. Especially considering they are so late into their careers.

But with our own outs and the importance of this match, it's hard to be too upset.

with west out i feel that if our midfielders can go hard at the ball we might be able to intimidate the doggies on ballers. with both west and cross out they haven't really got an in an under ball winner besides boyd, who really is no better than jj.

so guys like cooney, gia, aker and ray may struggle to receive if we can get hands on the ball first

Boyd would currenlty be leading our BF. Cooney has been good in the last month, been a very in and under type players. Dont worry we will still be very very hard to beat. We won without Westy last week!!!

Must admit, I feel the same way with James Hird. An absolute champion and I was looking forward to seeing him play against us for what would probably have been the last time. I was hoping for an Archer/Hird type moment after the game between Jimmy and Chris Grant too... oh well, that's footy hey?
