Why is everyone blaming us for cheating
I have read quite alot of posts claiming that we have cheated for the past 2 weeks
mainly from Richmond supporters
we are getting blamed instead of the umpires

great win by the boys and a very happy Essendon supporter at present. Ahh i have to admit one thing it is so hard been a Essendon supporter sometimes as we dont seem to no how to finish a team off and we for some reason let the opposition back in the match. But gutsy win and with a tough four weeks comeing up it is a good start. Hey guys have we broken the interstate hoo doo we have won 2 out 2 this year

Credit to the Swans, it's not over to the final siren sounds and they'll continue to fight so long as they've got another breath in them.

I saw the presentation at the end of the game and it was disgraceful by those Sydney fans, you could hardly hear Lloydy above the screaming and yelling of the fans. The commentator summed it it perfectly when he siad "Feral"

Highlight of the night was the song, it was sung with such gusto and enthusiasm and you could tell it meant so much to them.

Did anyone else notice Stanton not taking shots at goal? A couple of times he was running in and from just outside 50 he passed it, and usually it wasnt marked. I hope it isnt a backlash of our poor kicking last week. If anyone was going to have licence to kick it from there of our midfielders, it would be Stanton. He is a lovely kick on the run and I'd like to see him back himself a bit more.

I habe to give it to the kid, he has really impressed with his will to work on his kicking component of the game and I think he has made a massive step forward this year - but not to be our best kick at goal! 25, 18 and 6 would be the 3 I'd have it with....

Late into the match, i was thinking, "i bet carmer is going to come back to haunt us for what happened last week", good thing it didn't, stoked with the win! Mal and Paddy, give yourselves a pat on the back.....sensational in defence!

I'd like to see Hislop or Lonergan get a game next week, Houli could perhaps have a break and make way for one of them.

Monfries goal kicking has been horrible this year.

How good was Woosha ? Been so valuable up the ground this year. I was frustrated with his indecision in the back half the last couple years but very happy with him this year.

Just got back from Sydney.

I have no idea why the crowd was booing. The umpires had gone already left the ground and nothing had been said over the public address system. Honestly, I think they were just booing because the person next them was booing and it had a snowball effect.

It really is a different sort of AFL crowd in Sydney. I know its a cliche but most of them don't understand the real intricacies of the game. They go to get entertained and if they lose, it must be someone's else's fault.

The boys played really well and looked switched on from the start. Totally made the trip worthwhile.
