What Do You Drink?

Need some advice

i am 25 been drinking consistently since i was 16.

Mostly Spirits so Jack Daniels,Southern,Wild Turkey what most people would drink.

In the last year i have been drinking beer also Boags,Heineken but after about 6 i start to get headaches and feel shit house.

Done the Vodka Gin and Cider and was not really a fan

So what do you guys drink i actually left a place i was at Saturday night because i could not stand drinking the above anymore which at the time was Jack and Coke

Would love some idea's as its been a real first world problem for me lately.

scotch, beer and wine mostly... ill happily enough have a vodka, gin, bourbon or cider though. I dont buy them though

Mostly German & Czech beers. I lke pairing wine with dinner from time to time. I'm competent at that, but no wizard by any means. I've invented a deluxo tasty and refreshing vodka drink called Mooster's Wet Martini (MWM). I like Rum too and usually have some on hand along with Glenlivet Scotch. But mostly I'm a beer dude.

Your taste buds are probably just maturing a bit.

Ditch the soft drink... it’s garbage, far too sweet to enjoy for any length of time... don’t know why people call it bourbon and coke... it’s coke and bourbon... pure soft drink with a little dash of alcohol... lolly water for people who haven’t got over their childhood soft drink fetishes. One or two is fine but any more and you start to feel bloated and shithouse.

Beer’s good, stick with it as long as you can.. after that try mixing your spirits with something less sweet... dry... soda water... even water... it’s not as sweet but you quickly get used to it and can enjoy it for a lot longer.

And get into wine whenever you can, red and white.

Too many options. Sounds like you enjoy spirits. Do you mix them? You could just change the mixer. Maybe enjoy different types of rum or a gin and tonic. You could start getting into wine or you could try beer that isn't just a standard lager.

Usually VB or Carlton Draught or Coopers Pale if it's on special and will chuck in a double Wild Turkey and Coke Zero/Diet Dry or two after dinner. Generally just beer though if its an all day thing.

Beer is the only alcoholic drink that I actually enjoy drinking.

Avoid mixing coke with anything.

Midori and lemonade goes alright if you can fight through the harassment of your peers. Also red bull and vodka.

I am thinking i might just have to hit the beers for as long as possible and then jump on the spirits when it just becomes to much problem is i have had a few all day things of late and beer in the sun outside is nothing worse in my opinion

Maybe try soda water or ginger ale. It's not as sweet.

With the beer, if you're in Australia, I'd be enjoying some nice wheat ales in the warm weather. Or something nice and hoppy like a IPA. I've heard people say Sierra Nevada is available in Australia now. Give that a go.

Canadian Club and dry, or if you want to be really cool go with Viv Richard's favourite, Malibu and dry

But its hot here so the old Gin and Tonic goes down a treat too.

For Gin, I stick to Beefeater, Hendricks, Tanquerey and my favourite of all, Plymouth.

If I'm trying to get weird with it, I'll shot some Tequila, usually Patron. Cause I'm a rapper. Wait, raper.

Have never got into the scotch/whisky "thing". My mate is a big whisky person and has actually run a couple of whisky tastings. Can't stand when he looks down his nose at me when I say I cant taste the difference between St. blah blahs single malt and red label. Moral of the story; drink whatever you want, regardless of what other people think of you.

Would drink out of a pink straw in a bucket if i could drink it all night and it taste good

Problem is i am finding nothing i can do that with could not care less if a mate of mind was hanging it on me for drinking something

(Double) Vodka and Red Bull is my preferred drink - but its far too expensive to buy so much Red Bull.

I assume we're not talking about getting charged off shots (do Vodka, Jaeger etc.), so I'd say that my 'favourite' drink at the moment is Perry.

Children's booze, I know, but its quality.

Alcohol, pizza and strippers. Even when they're bad they are still alright. My advice would be to htfu and just treat the bottle shop like your own private oasis, away from the hustle and bustle and the sensitive ears of the rest of the pc world. Mix, match, experiment. Go as hard as you can until your eyes turn yellow. Sometimes I like a black n tan, sometimes I like scotch, sometimes wine, sometimes I run out and look for lighter fluid or an old bottle of pino. Sometimes, but not always, I like to watch pr0n (even a chick do it with a horse) while I'm drinking.

Massive fan of Sierra Nevada, especially the pale ale. Whenever I see a pale ale on the menu I naturally just think back to the scene in American Pie while Stiffler's throwing up and Kevin walks in with a smug look on his face "How's the pale ale going?" Gets me every time

I drink a 6 pack a week of something random and different each week. I usually just pick a cool label ive not seen before.

The only downside is going into a pub/club and realising they serve nothing you like.

Put beer in fridge.

Drink beer when cold.
