Trying to stay off the beer these days. Now mostly drinking CC n coke, gin and cider. Though really need to change up my mixer with the cc's, end up with sticky sugar teeth whenever I'm on it

Change from CC and Coke to Crown Royal and ginger ale with a slice of lime.

So much cider hate.

Pressed apples/pears left to ferment for a couple of months.

Where is the loss?

Usually drink beer. Try and get darker ales usually unless it's a heavier drinking session. Quite partial to Hendricks and do enjoy whiskey. Haven't been able to stand Bourbon since I was 16.

I drink coca-cola.

I've tried most booze all the way from lolly water to 151 and real Absinthe.

Haven't touched a drop in ages. My liver is having a rest. 2 years and counting.

You should see someone about that delusion you have.

Anything. As long as it's in cube form and able to be shelved.

I gave up "imbibing" many years ago.

I drink mainly local pale ales. I've had a lot of beer in my time and in my opinion, the best beer in the world is made right here in WA.

Had my brother over here a little while ago and he's been living in Europe for the last ten years.

He was amazed at the quality of beer.

And the tough guys saying cider is shit quite obviously haven't tried real cider.

It's okay to drink champagne at the races, but cider is totes gayyyuhh.
In England cider is known for being a bit of a nutter's drink, and you often find pubs that sell a lot of cider have poor reputations, although this probably applies more to town centre/city pubs than rural ones.
Hardcore cider enthusiasts treading these boards should go to the West Country in England, some of the proper scrumpy cider that they make down there will blow your socks off.

The West of England, Devon and Cornwall particularly. I have kin down there who I used to visit when I lived in England, very straight people too, used the local cider to overcome my high level of boredom. There are some very chewy variations of cider in that part of the world.
