It’s not just youThe vast majority of shit spoken via commentary annoys me, but I do acknowledge that it could just be me...!
This one brings back memories. Was coaching a men’s 4ths team in Sydney in 2017 and we brought in a well regarded ex SANFL player as senior coach. All 4 teams warmed up together and before training the coach outlined the training schedule, warm up, craft, cardio/ running, general skill drills, match simulation. I knew the others but thought to myself, “hello, this craft is an interesting one. Will we be doing some pottery and weaving tonight?”Referring to the skill in a certain position as 'craft'.
Ruck 'craft', forward 'craft' etc.
I cringe every time I hear it.
Some bulls identify as heifersBut a bull also has 4 legs and a tail - yet they describe human men as 'inside bulls'.
I don't think they mean it literally.
Are you saying the change was deliberate? They changed the wording on purpose and it’s officiated as such.
the highest point when contesting a mark compared to other competitors trying the same or to mark or spoil. one of the main reasons players don't take chest marks anymore unless they are jostling rather than jumping.Exactly the ball is on its way down when someone marks it, does my head in
LackadaisicalLaconic. It doesn't mean what they think it means.
