Ok then, so we better ban alcohol, smokes, sex, food, coffee and every other thing that humans can be addicted to. Problem is, there's too much money to be made from all of it. You can't blame anyone but the addict for their addiction, nobody forced them to start, if they don't have the will power to stop, who's fault is that??

Lets calm down ok. You can sink the piss and cancer sticks all you want - you get what you pay for. Same with food and coffee they are all choices - basically what I am getting at right - is pokies are designed (as its a mechanical device with programming) to always win for the house...you drop 10 bucks in that and use say 1 dollar spins - 10 spins is over in 10 seconds just about. Where as 10 bucks for a beer, ciggie, food will last a lot longer. Pokies are setup to grab your attention and hold it with its bullshit over the top advertising on top of the machines and lights etc. its like eating with your eyes when you are looking for something to eat.
 
So a machine for gambling is rigged towards the house, shock horror!!! Someone call the authorities! If everybody knows that, then there's even less of an excuse to play them, and the blame still lies with the player, nobody else. By all means blame the flashing lights though if it makes you feel better.

Thats the thing, they shouldnt have to cover their arses. Just so many PC people blaming the cops in trying to catch these people as the reason these guys injure or kill themselves.

One time two cyclists rode through (a couple) both fit.

As they rode past the guy told me to put my dogs on the lead in an aggressive hero way.

I just snapped because I hate campaigners like that and ran at him.

He bolted off on his bike and left his wife there.

I changed tone and calmly said to her that I wonder what she'll be thinking about her 'man' leaving her the next time she's banging him ...

As someone who frequents off leash dog parks pretty much daily it really shits me when parents bring small children who are scared of dogs and then have the temerity to complain because a dog upsets their child! (other parents are great and realise that dogs may upset their kids but that it's not the dog or owner's fault).

Others who shit me are people who set up picnics in off leash areas and then get the shits when dogs try to get their food.

Mate I am so with you. Out of the thousands of parks there are only a handful that are off-lead and they are always packed with people who are terrified of dogs.

Firstly if you are an adult and terrified of dogs you are pretty much a campaigner to begin with, but when you choose an off-lead park to go to and then get upset at the dogs being off-lead you need to be euthanased.

these days we know quite a fair bit about chemical changes that occur in the brain with addiction.

Call me sceptical but I do wonder if the chases could be ended a bit sooner or even not even started sometimes but the cops love the adrenalin rush as well. I know if I was a cop I'd be gagging for a bit of high speed action. Lucky I'm not I guess.
