Tuck was Best afield today. Grigg was excellent. Both these players have passed Jackson. I've always maintained that these three cannot be in the same team.

Tuck has always been under rated. I didn't rate Grigg last year. But this year, Grigg has been fantastic. Jackson needs to make way for Conca to play his midfield role.

Love the way Tuck played today. Reminded me of his old man.

When was Jacko ever better than Tuck? I agree with Grigg, he has been playing well this year and his disposal has been pretty good. I think he realises his limitations and plays within them... unlike Wacko Jacko ;)

Does anyone know the record for the most tackles in a match for a Richmond player? Tuck's 11 (all before 3/4 time) must be right up there. Nahas got 12 v Hawthorn last year so it wasn't a record but what is ?

those night watchmen i complain about are duds skills or no skills.

Daniel Jackson is the afl's answer to a night watchman.

Does not look the least bit confident
Sh*t defense
Hardly gets near the ball
Butchers ball

Problem is he has kept his wicket (spot in the side) for far too long and has clogged up play.

I'm pretty sure it's 14 by Shane Tuck and Angus Graham (in the same game, coincidentally).

After that I think it's 12 by Collins, Tuck, and Jackson.

According to the match committee, at least the first 6-7 games last year. Tuck returned to the side and we started to compete for the rest of the year. This year, Tuck has been a sub, but does not look like being dropped. Jackson's efforts thus far this year are below standard.

In my opinion, Jackson has NEVER been better than Tuck at any stage of his career.

Not necessarily true. They were certainly talking about development last year (even though Jacko is not going to develop in an upward way) and also that they were likely to bring Tuck in when the pace of the season slowed a bit (a crap excuse im my eyes but I remember it being said.... perceived lack of leg speed).

Tucky is the man

I implore anyone to watch the replay of the game ( v dees) and specifically keep your eyes on Tucky...he is a man possessed with the sole aim of winning the hard ball, getting it and passing it on to advantage

He worked his arse off and did a brilliant job

Clearly BOG

Hope he keeps it up

His been doing it for years....

tuck fan and for mine was bog. but it was a very insipid melbourne who are lets face it at rock bottom atm. i wonder how we would have gone if moloney and sylvia were there both inside players and both have hurt us in the past.in particular moloney.
like us they dont much depth in most positions and a couple of outs can hurt a fair bit.
i suppose im saying tucky should have dominated this game and he did you can ask no more but just a little perspective thrown in.

The man with a bit of perspective. Thanks Santa.

I could imagine you at a wedding. It's a beautiful day with clear skies. Everyone is happy and smiling. All of a sudden out springs Santa with a hose and drenches everyone with the wise words "it's a beautiful day but it could have rained. Just wanted to put things into perspective"

Just enjoy the win for what it was. A win.

Yes, and Hawthorn are (were) Premiership favourites ;)

I love nothing more than when a bloke who answers his critics with deeds .;)

Would love to hear Dimma open up about this guy one day.

Proved a lot wrong
His old man spoke to the executive function I went to today (thanks KiwiTiger) and was compulsive listening. Very funny man.
Anthony Mithen was MC and asked him how many games he had played. Tucky said 'If you count all the good ones, it was 425, but if you include the bad ones, it was 426'.
Idon't think Michael was very happy at his son's predicament last season (I won't say treatment, because at the time I agreed with it) and I get the impression he was quite vocal about it, but also from hearing him talk today, I got the impression he thought quite highly of the footy club and I even swear I caught him say 'we' when referring to the Tigers.

Well done Tucky...you have a lot to live up to...especially that Tuck name...and to your credit you have nothing to be ashamed of...

Best thing Wallace ever did for this club was to retain you as a player...
