Ok and i've just started another one but what is going on? Feeling very blokey blokey round here. Bad enough i get dragged into watching the cricket today in what seemed like a boys club meeting and now all these beer beer beer threads. C'mon girly's lets start some shopping ones or somethin!

Just out of interest, what are average prices for a pint these days? I've been out of the country, and used to complain about the price of beer in Italy, but here I paid $7.20 for a pint!

the pub around the corner from were i work, sells pints from anywhere between $5 and $6. I'm a member there, which means i get 10% off which helps.

Every month there is a beer of the month, which if it is a "get ****ed" beer it's $4 a pint, otherwise it's $5 a pint.

Last two months for some reason, Steinlagers have been $4 a pint, which is a quality drop, and you wouldn't find many places in the Sydney CBD where you could a schooner for $4. But i don't know how long they plan on doing this for - hopefully for ever!

I know this wont be great for you because you're not a Melbournian, but every Monday night at Pugg Mahones in the CBD is International Backpacker's/Uni Night and between 8 and 11 is $3 PINTS!!!

Yep, $3!!!!

Then between 11 and 1 they're still only $4!!

And being that its full of tourists, the talent is oustanding!!

Oh, and i've been told the resident band is bloody awesome.....

Me too! If you think about it, we're a bunch of chicks talking on a footy board; people shouldn't really be surprised that we'd rather have a beer than shop
