Do agree, tonight he was a liability
His first half was shocking but his second half was really good. Impressive how he turned around what started as a mare of a nightRance had 7 marks (3 contested), 4 rebound 50s, 13 1%ers, 13 intercept possessions last night. Would hate to see what the scoreline would have looked like without this "liability".

Probably true, but would be interesting to so how differently they developed at those clubs. Most of the distance in reputation between players like Hodge/Bartel and players like Gibbs/Deledio is due to the players they were fortunate/unfortunate enough to have around them for most of their careers.
Someone like Marc Murphy would probably have a similar reputation to Joel Selwood if he was originally drafted to Geelong instead of Carlton. Similarly, someone like Enright would just have been regarded as a good, consistently above average player if he spent most of his career at Carlton.
I think the opposite. He's even better than most think.Daniher is overrated
Goldstein's 2015 was and probably will be the most dominant season from a ruckmen we will ever see
Stynes was before my time, but from what I read and the videos I have seen, he changed the way modern ruckmen play, but in my opinion (unpopular as it may be), Goldy perfected it for that one yearStynes '91?

Sort out his kicking and watch out.
Banning "where are they at" type threads for the first half of the season is bad for bigfooty. It inhibits any sort of meaningful discussion about clubs and encourages people to cry "trolling" at any criticism of their club. So we end up with the main board full of boring, nothing topics. By the time they're allowed, most of the big questions that would've been asked have already been answered, and there's no need for the conversation.
That’s crazy talk. Most of the distance in reputation between players like Hodge/Bartel and players like Gibbs/Deledio is due to the players they were fortunate/unfortunate enough to have around them for most of their careers.

Cyril would be rated with Jeff Garlett if he played for the Lions
That’s crazy talk.
Selwood is an exponentially more intense and determined player than Murphy who’s performed at a higher level.
The reason they have different reputations is due to how superior Selwood is as a player to Murphy.
Cyril is much better but you're probably right. He is the cream not the cakeCyril would be rated with Jeff Garlett if he played for the Lions
Whinging about the roof being open at Etihad is excessive.
The SCG is currently half in shadows and no one has said anything. The sun can be completely overhead Etihad and the tears will flow.
