What we need to host a home final

An interesting question came up at a friend's BBQ yesterday.

For us to make the GF we have to (1) beat GC at home then (2) beat either Brisbane (Gabba) or Geelong (MCG) and then (3) beat either Adelaide (AO) or Collingwood (MCG) in the prelim?

IF we were to defeat Collingwood in an MCG Prelim, would we stay over in Melbourne for GF week?

In 2022 there were plans in place for the team to remain in Melbourne for the remainder of the finals series had they beaten Collingwood. I'm assuming it would be similar if we won the first two games. Just not feasible that much flying to and from Perth.

1) Beat Gold Coast
2) Team blacks out next 3 weeks and stay in Melb as hub
3) Beat Geelong at G
4) Beat Pies at G
5) Beat Lions at G

But in answer to your question. Too many variables, but I could see them considering a prolonged stay.

I think they would. I've already been looking into plans also that if we line up vs the Pies in a prelim that I will travel that weekend. If we win, stay in Melbourne and work remotely for a week.
