If the answer is yes, an anonymous tip-off would be useless because it doesn't lead to any hard evidence.

If it is bothering you, let the coppers know. Be aware though that you've given enough out on the Net over the years to make yourself very easily known.

Put it this way, using various tricks i learned as a journo, and knowing some people who live in Norn Iron (just lads, this isn't a go) I'm confident I could have someone standing on your doorstep within 12 hours.

Worth considering that if I could do that, what your 'mates' who you say helped dispose of the body could do.
