In an ideal world, what changes would you like to see for each team's jerseys in 2023?

Here are mine as an example:

Adelaide: New collar, complete redesign for away kit, preferably utilizing some of the SANFL history.
Brisbane: New quality manufacturer, deeper colours closer to traditional kit, new clash jersey that doesn't use white.
Carlton: New away jersey that doesn't look like a kid's colour in.
Collingwood: Fix a weird anomaly on the side/back of their jersey which looks like the stripes combine into an irregular shape, clash based off early 00s away.
Essendon: A decent away jersey for once, get rid of striping and weird cuts from Under Armour.
Fremantle: None
Geelong: An away that uses the cream, and collar of their one-off retro from 2022.
Gold Coast: A new logo, and a decent away jersey. I actually like their home jersey.
GWS: All black for home, all orange with white shorts for away.
Hawthorn: Get rid of the additional stripe, bring back the white box for the numbers.
Melbourne: Bring the yolk further down, and use a less pinky red.
North: Get rid of the white sleeves, bring back the 90s away jersey.
Richmond: None
St. Kilda: Get rid of weird black shoulder panel on the red side.
Sydney: More white, less red. Bring in a V jersey, maybe an away with black shorts.
Western Bulldogs: A deeper blue

Brisbane: a better colour set closer to the 3-peat guernseys, the bbffc moved back to the top of the jumper even on the collar like Sydney do & a gold or blue clash guernsey (the last Fitzroy training guernsey is a good template without the stripes or the 2017-19 clash guernsey)

Sydney: sash because why not

Crows: soo jumper

Power: prison bars

Gws: tac cup-Esque in current colours

Pies: return to white jumper

Weird one: Coburg clash or naidoc jumper have the old lion on it or a throwback jumper to the Fitzroy-coburg merger

Adelaide - New away kit based on the 1930 SA guernsey that the Crows wore in 2005
Brisbane - Gold version of the Bears last guernsey as a alternate
Carlton - A solid Navy Blue monogram for the away
Collingwood - Back to Black stripes on White for home plus a combo of the Swooping Magpie and the "Black Braces" guernsey as an alternate
Essendon - A cleaner looking guernsey
Geelong - Thin white hoops on Navy Blue for the alternate, similar to Parramatta's 2018-19 home jersey
Gold Coast - A full rebrand, is the Southport Sharks interested in buying them? Gold Coast Sharks sounds nice
GWS - A guernsey based on the TAC Cup era kit but in current GWS colours as the home, the Never Surrender to become the full time alternate
Hawthorn - Gold Vee on brown as an alternate/heritage guernsey
Melbourne - A inverse of any of their past guernseys as an alternate if required
North Melbourne - A mostly blue version of the Bounding Roo as an alternate
Port Adelaide - A half decent teal clash guernsey, the silver clash is boring
Richmond - Yellow and Black Hoops from c1895 - 1907 as a heritage
St Kilda - Get rid of that black shoulder panel from the red side
Sydney - N/A
West Coast - Make the Yellow a little more Gold
Western Bulldogs - Deeper blue plus make the alternate an inverse of the 1975-1996 guernsey for something a little different

Adelaide: yellow clash from 2021 comes back, red clash stays for hawks, tigers, eagles
Brisbane: 2000s colours back, lower yoke on back, 'fitzroy' kit with blue shorts at most away games, current white kit with maroon shorts, white shorts with home jersey
Carlton: sky blue clash
Collingwood: make the clash a bit more fun e.g. white swooping magpie kit
Essendon: Throw a silver clash and wear the red more often to reduce clashes
Fremantle: wear home with white shorts more like a big 4 club would, maybe an alternate (95 clash)
Geelong: navy shorts more often, maybe wear a full navy clash more often
Gold Coast: Remove red from the clash and add a yellow third
GWS: Current clash (maybe some charcoal cuffs or shoulders) with charcoal shorts for home, wear NS jumper more often, white based indigenous for clash worn more
Hawthorn: remove white box on clash, be consistent with what guernsey is worn at away games
Melbourne: maybe a red guernsey?
North: home with blue shorts all the time + bright blue bounding roo (with blue shorts v cats) = perfection
Port: 97 Clash as home, silver version of the 97 clash, 97 lightning bolt with teal back, Prison bars for showdowns
Richmond: all good here
St. Kilda: 19 clash as a third v dees, bombers, lions, giants
Sydney: Sth Melb V jumper as a proper clash
West Coast: Brighter blue and warmer yellow, clash worn with blue shorts
Western Bulldogs: red third jumper

North: Get rid of the white sleeves, bring back the 90s away jersey.
We got rid of the white sleeves before they were ever worn.

For mine: blue cuffs. White looks wrong.

Adelaide: blue collar/cuffs on home
Brissy: bears as clash strip
Blues: baby blue clash
Pies: white strip as home
Dons: cream clash with red/black sash
Suns: redesign the whole club
GWS: 2021 never surrender as home, bring back old home jumper as away
Hawks: my jumper from the comp a few years ago as the clash
North: bounding roo (longy's compulsory)
Saints: crusader as home, 2010 clash as clash

Adelaide: bring back the 2021 set
Brisbane: Bears jumper in the style of the Fitzroy jumper
Carlton: 2019 clash. pick a non-club colour and wear it in the preseason
Collingwood: Swap the home + away guernseys
Essendon: proper inverse clash
Freo: Anchor preseason
Geelong: honestly pretty much perfect. maybe a two-tone red hoops design for preseason?
GC: just start again
GWS: Bring back the original home w/o the sidepanels, a white number panel and mainly charcoal back.
Hawthorn: bring back inverse + drop sidepanels
Melbourne: red 3rd kit
North: bring back inverse + bounding roo
Port: prison bars home, current home away, white clash
Richmond: black number panel + gold numbers (inverse on clash), black collar + cuffs on clash. White preseason jumper as a nod to white tigers
St Kilda: candy stripe jumper, get rid of the silly shoulder panels
Sydney: pretty good here. maybe make the 2017-2021 away the home and vice versa? keep the South vee as the victorian jumper
West Coast: Ochre preseason. everyone wants it, Freo brought back the 3d anchor, just do it godammit!
Dogs: hot take but bring back the full red kit

Bonus umpires: honestly just go all out and bring back the rainbow from like 2003-2011. Add in more if you like, the goal is to make sure that there is maximum distinction between players and umps

Western Bulldogs: A deeper blue
I think Adelaide's current away kit is the best one they've had, so far.

Adelaide: Redesign the entire uniform to make it primarily navy and limit the gold.
Brisbane: Return to 2009 home design (back matching the front yoke, no PJ Lion transparent logos surrounding uniform), and use the Fitzroy monogram for the away games.
Collingwood: Return to 2000 home design, white based.
Essendon: Use a contrasting red sash and base for the away uniform.
Fremantle: Return to white anchor but with haze only as the main colour. Also, a white anchor with red base for the away uniform.
Gold Coast: Complete redesign needed
GWS: Complete redesign needed.
Melbourne: Use 2020 Proud to belong guernsey for home.
North Melbourne: Use V guernsey (ie 2007-2008 away guernsey) for home.
Port Adelaide: Use 1997-2002 away guernsey for home.
Sydney: Return to 1980's design for home.
St Kilda: Return to 2009 home design, and bring back 2009 clash guernsey for clash games.
Western Bulldogs: Return to 2016 home guernsey with blue cuffs only.
West Coast: Make Eagle blue for the gold clash guernsey.

Umpires to wear white, black or grey.

Adelaide: Bring back the 1996-1998 pre-season guernsey in some capacity (and change back to that Crow logo while they're at it).
Brisbane: Blue shorts with the Fitzroy guernsey, a better company to manufacture their guernseys. AND the Bears-style away guernsey done right.
Carlton: Raised monogram, and to bring back a solid navy monogram for the away guernsey.
Collingwood: White guernsey with black shorts for home, Swoopy Boi for away.
Essendon: Red guernsey, red shorts and black sash for away games.
Freo: Bring back the Purple Haze anchor jumper
Geelong: Wear navy shorts any time other teams don't have navy as club colours.
Gold Coast: WAVE. GUERNSEY. AS. HOME. And like the Crows, a new logo 🙄
GWS: Bring the offset G guernsey back as the home kit, with a charcoal back.
Hawks: Inverse stripe guernsey as away, or brown-based gold V design
Melbourne: Try inversing the home kit as an away guernsey.
North: Blue cuffs need to come back, and the black numbers too.
Port: Remove the number panel.
Richmond: A striped gold-based away guernsey (Hawthorn style 🤪)
Saints: Have a white based home kit, so they bring back the black and red hooped jumper as an away kit. Or have it as the home instead.
Sydney: Black shorts with South Melbourne guernsey
Dogs: I agree with everyone else, get the red jumper back.

Carlton- start to embrace the orange for a 3rd

West Coast- have the navy tri panel as a 3rd

Melbourne- red jumper with navy demon pls

My wish for my mob. Bring the 80s collar/cuffs arrangement. Get rid of the cheap looking Arial F.F.C. and replace with the old logo which includes F.F.C on the flag. Bring in a red strip for some away games based on 1898-1900 jumper as we won games wearing that unlike the inverted red version of the current jumper. (won the VFA flag every year we wore it). Also fixed the collars arrangement on the clash strip.
