The latest terminator movie.. was ok, definitely better than the crap they have released over the years, but still.. time to end the franchise 5/10

rogue one, easily Disney’s best sw movie, and one I really enjoy 8.5/10

Jojo rabbit. Not sure what to make of it. Although I know I really enjoyed it. It was funny, happy and sad all at the same time. 7.5/10
I'm not really a massive Star Wars fan, but I thought Rogue One was a really enjoyable film.

I liked the original Star Wars Trilogy up to & including Return of the Jedi.....after that, forget it.
Should have stopped there, last six movies have been rehashed garbage

Dennis the Menace and stumbled across this on Netflix.

Great film still and very amusing!

7/10

Whatever happened to Mason Gamble the kid that played Dennis and he just literally fell off the face of the earth along with a lot of other child actors.

Lea Thompson Dennis's mum still HOT as ever!

Doctor Sleep. The first half I thought was pretty average but it became more effective as it wore on.
Really disliked it. Thought it was way too Marvel-like, superhero powers, action-based with powers....rather than a chilling horror or mental psychosis thing.

Yeah it wasn't the best but we enjoyed making fun of it and I was entertained at times.

The whole "steam" aspect was kinda gimicky, but to be fair it did all feel pretty Stephen Kingy to me (haven't read this book though).

The Shining is a ridiculously hard act to follow also.

Why does anyone like Batfleck? Over the hill and completely lacking any charisma. I actually like Affleck in a lot of films but I cannot stand his Batman. I'd love for someone to point out what they like about this iteration

Bring on Robert Pattinson

He's the most violent?

Unpopular opinion but Star Wars 1-3 and 7-9 are better movies than 4-6.

Was never really a fan either although I don't think he did bad with what the role was. I watched a bit of Justice League again tonight but can never sit through much of it. What I'll never understand is how the CGI got so bad. There is a lot wrong with JL and the DCU in general but the CGI, that should have been top shelf, it makes up most of the movie and expectations are so high after the MCU and other movies have raised the bar. There's no excuse for WB not to have budgeted the time and money to get it right.

The final fight scene is laughable, just a pink blurry PS3 cut scene. Steppenwolf never feels the least bit real... although I liked his axe, must of been blunt as **** but it looked good swinging about and dragging him about the place.

Maybe a better script could have saved him from being such a dour, whimpy douche bag. I also didn't think he brought any energy or charm to the role whatsoever. Did he even smile once through the whole film?

And yes, the CGI is PS1 levels

For me him and Ezra Miller (Flash) were both badly miscast or maybe WB just didn't get the characters right whereas Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (Superman) and Jason Momoa (Aquaman) have been wasted, were great in their roles but I can't see anyway of saving the DCU now. Kill it, wait 10 years and try again.

Cavill is ok looks wise, he is pretty wooden tho. The best Flash actor is Evan Peters (Quicksilver from the MCU)

Watched Ford V Ferrari, or Le Mans 66 as its called here, and I really enjoyed it. Searched for a thread on it here but couldn't find one.

Early in the film I wondered what the hell was going on with Bale and was he re-visiting his Prestige accent but as the movie grew so did his portrayal of Ken Miles and it made more sense. Matt Damon was excellent as Shelby, strong and likeable, yet I have no idea how the real Shelby was.

Overall I was engrossed, as was my wife. Loved the cliched Italians in the Ferrari pits, hated Beebe, The Deuce was a privileged campaigner and this all had the right mix of good V bad.

Highly enjoyable drama, recalling an era in motorsport that was incredibly dangerous.

8/10

Oh and Ken Miles... What a man!
