I have umpired at Dunnstown and at Daylesford when it has been snowing.

actually it doesn't.

It generally wont snow if the temp is above a few degrees, but anytime there is the correct cloud formations/storm front and air temp. it will snow. It may not stick on the ground, but it will snow.
A month ago it snowed where I am 8 inches and the temp. did not get below 4, this is pretty common.

But, you coming from the snowy, wintry environment you do, combined with your knowledge of meterology probably know best, based on how smug your comment was.
