care to back up that claim?

Though I don’t really know if it’s that bad or unexpected of a thing. It only appeared halfway down the search page, I’d have thought if it had a great impact on prospects it would all over the news. I’m no virologist.

Wrong... the virus currently has 8 different strains already and has already mutated from its original form.

The last report I heard on ABC News Radio was that whilst it had mutated (all do), it was still largely stable and not likely change enough to minimise the value of any vaccine developed across 2 to 3 years. It is more stable than Influenza.

It's about the RNA instructions for the virus inside it's "corona" that are likely to mutate, which make either a more virulent or a less virulent actual virus action, but the mutation to the outer proteins which link into the human receptors to cause the infection to spread are extremely unlikely to change as any mutation here is likely to cause the virus to become ineffective so natural selection doesn't select for this sort of change. The proteins and how they interact inside a human body are how this specific strain managed to get to a human and are why a vaccine would remain effective once it's developed.

Influenza doesn't have the corona protection and interacts with humans differently so it's mutations are more likely to cause a change in how the virus infects you year on year.

I thought we might be back by start of May but listening to Moses speak on tv tonight about 6 months with social distances at a minimum , I don’t think footy will get back.
Was the sermon from the mount?

Dan the man is implying this could go on for 12mnths at least (Timeframe for vacine & trials).
If that's the case and I can't see the govt going back to stage 1 or 2 restrictions until then.
Football may not be back until August 2021.
If that happens I doubt very much it'll be an 18 side comp.

FFS 12 months . I was thinking 6 months was going to be bad enough . I rekon there will be civil unrest if it goes 12 months
