I havent been a fan of the huddle I must admit, but Ill either love it or hate it after this weekend against Geelong.

:o

I reckon youll see Geelong go a lot straighter from kickouts this weekend in an effort to Crack the Huddle:eek:

They have plenty of talls ...which quite worries me.
:(If we kick straight things 'll be ok)

And Er...Go Crows :p

I cant see the point of the huddle, but Ayresy said he will stick with it.

We shall wait and see

Like you said, they will not get many kickins after we kick 38.1

:D

CARN THE CROWS!

I think the huddle is a psychological ploy by Gary to make the players kick straighter for goals.

Every time they kick a point they have to go through all that crap of the huddle: manning up, sprinting madly after their opponent, etc.

Gary is making them more accountable in their goal kicking!!!

Huddle me

When its all said and done...I guess Adelaide players are not party to the huddle.

Dont the opposition instigate the huddle?

If they didnt congregate around CHF for the Crows during kickins the huddle wouldnt happen would it?

SO ITS NOT ADELAIDE playing the huddle

We are just playing man up football at this time, which is accountable for your opponent stuff.

And er .....Go Crows:rolleyes:

Crow 54,, what a load of crap,,,, do you know anything abt football.,.TopJARs nailed it basically.
THere are defensive and offensive zones and I am sure Gary Ayres has plans to combat both of those.

Well, duh.....

Closingf Pace

The zone defence in the game against the cats was nothing special.

Either way, Smart Burton and even Crowell have good closing pace on an opponent receiving the second kick. I think where we are missing out is crumbers front and square to take away the spoils.

A wins a win, but it was a pretty ordinary effort considering, Kilpatrick, Hocking and Riccardi were missing for the Catters.

And er...GO CROWS:mad:

well whatever the reasons are why they are choosing to persist with the man on man out of defence...the crows seriously need to change there thinking about this. You cant allow a team to just get the ball from a kickin 100% of the time week in week out. Zone defence at least puts some pressure on the teams to kick straight....whereas with man on man in a huddle its so damn easy to get the ball out time and time again. The reasons teams persist playing the huddle agains tthe crows is they know they will get the ball from a kick in...you just have to review the past weeks tapes to see that!!!

For the crows sake, something has to be done.

my two cents worth

Kick Goals

If they Kick Goals...which is stating the obvious, I know, we'd be better off.
With Burton gone for 3 weeks or more we havent got the wings covered for the "second " kick as much as I would like:mad: :p

Essendon will runoff this week, we just better be ready:eek:

And er...Go Crows:mad:
