Just came off my best week for the year scoring 2373 so feeling ok about the team. Although this was a good score I feel like I am only one injury away from having my team fall apart completely.

I seem to have a fair bit of dead wood in the team (all of which I am guilty of trading in) - Cockie, Macaffer, Thompson and to a lesser extent Cheney.

Where would you guys take this team from here? Obviously Mitch Brown needs to make way for a premium in that forward line and there are deficiences down back as well. Could also cash in one of Rich or Hartlett and have a serious all out premium midfield at my disposal. Maybe pick up an Andrew Mackie or Heath Shaw for that backline? Or a Fev or J Brown in forward line? These 4 seem the value picks.

BUT only 8 trades now, maybe I should just sit tight for the next few weeks? But then again players like Muston wont come around so often? And will some premiums remain as low as they are now?

Too many decisions to make, would love some thoughts or insight.

Nice team mate.

Hartlett has made a decent amount of cash and has just about peaked.

So cash him in, and look to upgrade Hurn to a keeper.

Mackie i'm not so keen on because his scores have been SO inconsistent.

But with Hartlett's cash you could get a real premium for Hurn.

Your other option would be to turn M Brown into Fev this week or even better J Brown next week when he drops to his lowest value.

Grimes and Broughton are playing extremely well and are going to make a lot of cash.

Like you said, your biggest problems are players on the bench who are not getting games.

Get rid of Cockie for Muston this week. hartlett still has a bit of cash making in him.

Keep your eye of Ballantyne when he debuts and add him as depth.

Your team is strong and the season isn't yet half way through. Get Muston in this week and then sit on your hands for a cple of weeks.

But at the same time I'd love to get an extra forward in for Ziebell or M Brown.I was thinking If I go the Beams > Muston, I could trade away Ziebell > Stevie J or M Brown > Jono Brown, and most likely take the 0 this week for Cornes as Hill looks like missing and get P Burgoyne or probably Enright for Cornes next week??

Obviously Walker over Chapman ATM is costing me but if I had traded Chapman then when he came back I would have wanted him. My rucks are pretty perfect as is the midfield with every midfielder getting to 100 this week. In the forwardline I'm keeping Lovett until the end despite his poultry score this round. Before this week he had been averaging 100 over the previous five rounds. Krackouer will most likely turn into Ryan O'Keefe this week. I'm keeping Higgins until the end also. So, once Chapman comes back and assuming my trade of Krackouer to O'Keefe goes through my forwards will be Pavlich, Chapman, Deledio, O'Keefe, Franklin, Higgins, Lovett which isn't too bad. I can live with that as I think it will consistently give out 700 or more points. Now onto the backs...

The backs are alright, but I have no idea on what to do with Cornes. Because Cheney and Rance are not playing I will cop zero after zero. But if Cornes is out for only 4 weeks or less it may be worth it. However Enright is cheap and a trade to him will let me go krackouer to Steve Johnson which I prefer over O'Keefe. But I have an extremely low amount of trades so may not go for it. On the backline I think that Gilbert is a keeper if he can average 90 plus as he has been doing. Also I'm keeping Gilbee to the end as he's just been a bit shaken by injury over the prvious few weeks. By backline (if Gilbee and Gilbert can average 90+ until the end of the season) is all premium bar Grimes. But even he has been bringing out some nice scores and may be a keeper. So I'm really liking the idea of a double trade Cornes -> Enright and Krackouer -> Steve Johnson but that will take me to an unbearable low amount of trades so may not do it and just hold onto one of them, preferably Cornes as out of the two I think he will be the better at finals time.

Embarrisingly I have 4...but ranked around 500 so things ain't too bad. As I said I've pretty much got the team I want apart from Krackouer and Cornes.
So this week despite the four trades I will probably just go Enright and Steve Johnson in for Cornes and Krackouer an just wing it until the end of the season. insane yes but may pay off. (glimmer of hope)

I really think I must get in on Muston this week, but completely torn on who to axe, Rich or Otten the matured cows, Kerr the incredibly frustrating and inconsistent, or the dead wood Barham.

What are peoples thoughts? Im pretty happy with my team i think, probly wont do any trades for a few weeks unless i have to (injuries).

Grimes, Otten, Rich and Ziebell are the ones i would like to upgrade eventually, but im going to have to keep maybe 2 of them. Otten and rich are consistely scoring well, so might keep them?

Any advice?

Exactly Pres. Where are the mods on this one? The board definitely needs some tidying up. I posted a thread earlier in the year titled 'Post your Team Here' for the following reason: 'Just thought a thread like this would prevent heaps of sub-threads being made for individual teams.'

I though Impromptu showed great initiative in creating the 'Name Your Team [After Round 9 Lock-Out] - advice, comments and suggestions' thread a few weeks ago, as I thought he had the same view in mind.

I wish more people woud take a similar standpoint .
