After our abject batting performance today, where do we go now?
Do we just write today off as a poor performance and hope that we do better next time, or we undergo wholesale changes through our entire team structure.
We're an absolute joke at the moment and the you can only blame the rotations for so much. Something else is really wrong, and it needs fixing.

The problem is that we spent a good decade with extremely flat domestic wickets.
Thus all the players have shoddy techniques.

The Australian team needs a strong shield comp to be strong.

Blame rotation because that is the reason batsmen can't play swing bowling or handle a pitch with a little bit in it.
I see what you did there. :)

I'd say it's time for wholesale changes. They only made 6 changes for this match. That makes 5 blokes VERY lucky to be playing today.

Luckily I like a good collapse so watching the Aussies fail to negotiate spin and then swing with any aptitude at all over the next 9 months should keep me entertained.

RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!!!

Today was disappointing on a multitude of levels, I was hoping Moises could bowl Dilshan and Jayawardene back into some form, that said, at least it's interesting now.

The talent pool has worn thin IMO, we have a lot of very good first class (state level) players, but not many convince me they are capable at world level in 50 over and test cricket.

Sorry last dig at Clarke but seriously, how did Henriques get a gig over Khawaja? I'm sick of all rounders that are just so and so at both crafts.

because you need to pick a team that can bowl 50 overs, which leads to bit part all rounders.

there wasn't many short balls so Khawaja would have been useless anyway
