The people that have made a living recruiting and coaching for 30 years have said it's a deep draft.What do they use to define a ‘deep’ draft?
I take this to mean that a player taken at pick 35 might have gone pick 15-20 in (some) other years.
That said, I don't necessarily subscribe to the view that the top end talent isn't as good as recent years. It may not be, but we won't really know for a decade.
