Adelaide or Melbourne?

Must say, I was impressed by ADL on the w/e.

Looking at their "youngsters"

Tippett
Dangerfield.
Taylor Walker.
Otten (injured).
Phil Davis
Rory Sloane
Henderson.

Have a solid core group that has their best ahead of them.

Bernie Vince.
Chris Knights.
David McKay.
Douglas.
Porplyzia.
Reilly.
Van Berlo.
Thompson.

Have McKernan & Talia in reserve as projects who will develop at different rates.

Melbourne's youth is well documented but IMV ADL's list has more upside than Melbourne's in the next few years.

This is how I see Melbourne's team developing over the next few years. We have the basic structure in place. Right now all Bailey is focusing on is getting games in to players.

(age in brackets)

Backs Colin Garland (22) Jared Rivers (25) Clint Bartram (22)
Half backs Jack Grimes (21) James Frawley (21) Aaron Davey (27)
Centreline Colin Sylvia (24) Jordie McKenzie (20) Brent Moloney (26)
Half forwards Jack Watts (19) Liam Jurrah (21) Luke Tapscott (19)
Forwards Austin Wonaeamirri (21) Ricky Petterd (22) Jamie Bennell (20)
Followers Mark Jamar (27) Jack Trengove (18) Tom Scully (19)

bench: Gawn (18) Blease (19) Bail (22) Gysberts (19)

Plus

Backs
Joel McDonald (25)
Stefan Martin (23)
Cheney (20)

Mids
Nathan Jones (22)
James Strauss (20)

Forwards
Jack Fitzpatrick (19)
Lynden Dunn (23)
Matthew Bate (23)
Nev Jetta (20)
Maric (20)
Danny Hughes (23)

Aaron Davey the oldest at 27 then Jamar at 26. Once these guys have 50+ games experience playing together they will kick on big time. From this I think the Dees lack a bit of midfield depth as well as a proven back up ruckman. However I'm excited about what the future brings.

It's a tough one but I think MFC.

Adelaide have awesome KPP but will surely struggle in the midfield for a while considering there retirements.

Melbourne have a great KPD, alot of depth in the midfield if there youngsters come through and a number 1 draft pick to build there forward line around. I would think that means the Demons have more upside.
