I would rate the bulldogs a fair chance. Their being around the running since 97 now and after waiting 47 years, i think they're going to have a bit of fire in their belly's come september.

OK - only one pre-season game into the 2001 season and already I have made my mind up about September.

Remember I was one of only two posters who predicted a Melbourne-Essendon GF last season so listen up guys - you heard it here first.

The Grand Final will be between Hawthorn and Essendon

The losing PFists will be Brisbane and Sydney.

Making up the rest of the eight will be Kangaroos, Western Bulldogs, Geelong and Melbourne.

The wooden spooner will be Fremantle.

cheers

Brisbane .... if they can keep all their top-liners on the paddock. At full strength with Matthews at the helm, they can beat anyone. If they don't win a flag while he's around though, they never will ....

BSA- I think thats a top call. Ive thought for some time now (well last year or so)that the Hawks would become a very powerful side within a couple seasons. According the TAB, an Ess v Hawks GF has surprising (i wouldve thought) odds of 14/1.

maybe worth a shot.

Bombie v Brissie Grannie.

I will wear extremely loud shirts and talk slower that day, in support of the Norderlanders. But I can see the Bombers winning again, aye!

My beloved side, I see slotting nicely in the 5 - 10 cluster, with great team improvement and the heralding of some new superstars of the game. Didak, Tarrant, Nick Davis & Josh Fraser will be on many opposition supporters "we wish" list.
