If the decision is based on pure talent and potential in the long term Hartlett, if the decision is based more on structural need of the team Hurley.

We are crying out for somebody of his ability, and I just question how effective Ziebel will be at the highest level, given he will be playing against men, and he won't have the same impact using his body in the way he does in junior footy.

Hartlett has all the skill in the world, but we already have a Bryce Gibbs on our list. The only other one I would look at is Trengove, however, i'm a little scared off him with his major injury this year.

Mate that is the least of your worries, ziebell been playing against men since he was 15 and killing them he is going to end up a seriously big unit and with his toughness it's scary to think what he will end up as.I have watched him through the vic programe from u15 's and from the first time i saw him play i just loved the way he went about it ,this kid would eat his own children to get a footy. remember he is bottom aged and one of the youngest in the draft so the upside on him is huge so the recruiters would be looking at this as well . now weather he is a better prospect than hurley is the other issue for the recruiters to decide. I am an huge ziebel fan so really hope we get him at adelaide so please let him slide.

Aren't you guys better off securing someone like Hurley or Trengrove,to sure up your backline? Or even a good forward prospect to help out Fev ?

HBF the same thing could be said about Hurley as well. Its the biggest unknown in footy, but what we do know is that you don’t necessarily have to be the biggest bodied player.... if you have the mongrel in you, you will always be a cu_t at the footy...

Hurley is a little different in that he reads the play so well, and gets his body into the right position more often than not. Also, his kicking for a guy of his size is better than any other person I have seen of his age and size.

The Cats smashed them in the clearances and won stacks of midfield ball.
It was the Hawks rolling zone defence that kept blocking off all options to goal for the Cats. The Hawks forced the Cats wide inside 50 time after time and the Cats just didnt convert, especially in the 2nd qtr where they had the opportunity to open up a big break but kept missing scoring shots.

Mark Thompson could not get anyone at all dangerous on Hodge despite Hodge continuously zoning off.

Clarkson beat Thompson......and the Hawks ended up Premiers.

Dont underestimate Clarko's gameplan.......the Hawks are a very hard team to score against
