Morris has to come in. As much as he has his limitations, he is the logical choice to just go with Betts. If we don't go in with a plan for Betts, we're toast (we're toast anyway).

It should be Morris. This is exactly the role that made him so good in his first couple of years. Perhaps if he was left in his proper role as small negating defender he could become an asset again long term.

He wasn't dropped he just made way for hunt so he can prove a point that he isn't the worse player we have.

Whoever plays on him will need support. Not even some of the best small defenders can hold betts. We need bigger bodies in there. Morris will be alright to restrain him until support comes. Once Rance gets into him, he'll have nothing.

I reckon Robbie Gray kicked 4 on him 2 years ago by doing just that.
Isolate Morris inside 50 and he's no good under a high ball.

It's one of the reasons he was tried to be reinvented. He was found out as a small defender.

Cmon Liv , do you honestly think in today's footy if it was that easy to clear the front half , we would have tried with dusty or jack. Simply cannot happen, the objective is to create as much congestion as possible to block any clear path for forwards to run into , this started at least 10-15 years ago

If Morris has 2 disposals and keeps Betts quiet then Morris has done his job. As a defender with a specific lockdown role I dont think he is that bad a chice for this week. Unfortunately he is a one trick pony and doesn't really offer anything else to the side anywhere else on the ground.
