They are all spuds who have no future, and they won't get a game outside of Essendon. <Insert overrated team or player here> has a better future than these duds from Essendon, and they are only shit because they wear the red and black

umm..... ??

That's the kind of response some opposition supporters will serve up once they see this thread, btw it was a sarcastic post

Clearly they want the opinion of people who simply don't give a ****

Should be on the Essendon thread - Howlett and Colyer really have shown little compared with Hurley and Pears and will be lucky to pick up any votes. Would have thought Melksham was better than those two. Even Zaka is out matched by Pears and Hurley. Not much thought went into this poll.

agree it's a shit poll, but have you seen Howlett play? He's not a sexy draft pick name, but he's a damn fine player. Had a good year

agree a bit harsh on Howlett, only made debut last season off the rookie list and managed to play 15 games. Most clubs would be pretty happy with that as a 1st year output.

I voted Hurley simply because hes 21 and entering his 3rd season, but as a young KPP 2011 would still be a foundation building year.

Pears is in the top 2 best young KPP, Hurley is also touted as the next big thing. Weird to have Howlett in with these 2. If you had to keep 2 and get rid of one?

Unfortunately Pears' injured foot is going to stop him from being everything he could and should be in 2011. He definitely has all the class, but needs some luck on the injury front.

Look for him to become the player he's destined to be from 2012 and beyond.

WHARRRT!!!!?!!?!?

was looking forward to seeing him play :mad:

He'll play, hopefully. But he's had no preseason on top of the freaky pancreas injury, and it's wishful thinking to imagine he will take the game by the scruff of the neck like he's capable of. Will be a gun, but we're probably gonna have to wait another year :(

Pears reminds one of Mitchell Johnson. Tall, athletically blessed but leakier than the Titanic.

Howlett, without blinking.
But Howlett, Zaha, Colyer or Melksham? Very hard question.

I digress: that's not the poll question.
I think based on pre-seasons there's definitely one guy tracking worse, but other than that, it's quite hard to say.

Toss up between Zaka and Hurley - went Hurley.
