Who will finish higher in 2015 - Adelaide, Essendon or West Coast

Adelaide have the highest ceiling for 2015 imo (draws, pre-season etc).

Essendon are the easiest team to predict (given no suspensions) - they have a poor team offensively, and struggle to play 4 quarters, but their midfield has heaps of depth (Jobe, BJ, Heppell all guns, Zaharakis pretty good, Stanton, Hocking, Z.Merrett, Cooney, Howlett all ok to good) and their defence is very strong. 5th-8th.

Edit: easiest to predict = easiest to identify strengths and weaknesses etc

West Coast will probably struggle too much in the midfield to make any serious in roads into the 8. NicNat fully fit is scary though, could make them a 2-3 win better team. Probably 7th at a stretch (won't use their HGA to the fullest) but I have them slightly missing. All but in a rebuild at the moment, they just have some excellent players (EMac, NicNat, Priddis, Hurn, JK, LeCras and Darling) that stop them from bottoming out - missed the 8 2 years in a row now I think, but haven't been terrible.

Will expand on my points if challenged, just did a quick summary because on phone. I'll say Adelaide will finish highest, but Essendon are more likely to be solid and finish top 8.

I feel like Adelaide used to be continually underrated in pre season predictions. Now we are continually overrated. Essendon and WC both smashed us last year. There has been a lot of positive talk from us this pre season, and I am thinking that if the stars align we can have a great season, but based on the last 5 seasons we definitely do not deserve to be rated higher than Essendon. Probably similar to WC, but we have a slight edge due to our top 5 players vs theirs

Van Berlo is set to hold our defence together, with henderson and Jeanch that Should be enough experience and rebound

This is 2015 predictions, not current predictions with a full pre season I would be surprised if he isnt rated over goddard by seasons end

Assuming the guts is as an on baller, he played their abit thoughout the season and had a great game in round 23

Smith is likely to be playing in the midfield for the Crows this year for the first time, and Kerridge likewise (although Kerridge may also fill a forward role). Crows 2015 backline may possibly be:

Jaensch____Hartigan______Brown
Van Berlo____Talia_____Henderson/Cheney
