I am.
Would like to know how many of us are planning to head north and where we'll be pre-game.
Also to the Q'land based Tiges who'll be there.
I can't wait.
Thinking the Pineapple before the game.

Pineapple before the game.
Hotel Broadway after.
PM me if you want to tag along with the tiger army (that tiger army is me so far and no more than that, but we will grow!)

Might do that Tugga.
Will PM you my mobile number.
Would love to spend as much time with fellow tigerboys as we can. I think NQ Tiger was going to get in amongst it too.

Ill be there. Been a few years since we played up here.

Have a new GF these days and whenever anyone mentions sport to her she says Go Tigers, even if its ****ing netball. She joined me at Jupiters today to watch us and is getting infected with tiger fever.

She will be there too :thumbsu:

Been to a few Tiger games at the Gabba and always a decent crowd.

Remember when we beat them the year we were 9 and 2 before Browny did his leg (05?) and on the train back to the Coast it was full of Tigers. Mustve outnumbered Lions 2-1.

Oh I remember standing on the station so full of hope :(

'Oh we're from Tigerland' rang through the streets of Brisbane that night. And on the trains south.

If anyone is heading up to Brisbane, or anywhere else for that matter, at around noon (I fly out at around 2pm) on Thursday, I have two Virgin Loiunge passes to give away fro free.
That includes Lions fans.
You don't need to be travelling Virgin either. Just PM me and the free Crownies are yours.

I'm booked on the Qantas flight Auckland to Brisvegas on Friday arvo. Staying at the Stamford Plaza with the team, or that's were the club have booked anyways. I was at the Brisbane game a few years back when Richo was slotting them from everywhere and Voss handballed back to goal for Brownie to pick up the crumb ang goal. Happy days!

1st trip to the Gabba - fly in on Sat arvo, and bringing a few brisbanites to the proper aussie rules. spewing JBrown isnt playing- meaningless win without him!

should be half a chance, but our 2 wins were pretty ordinary - v wcrabble and depeted power. will be bloody good to see how we match with a good side - not as good as StK but still a top 8 side...

Going to bust a nut to get there, work Saturdays and finish late some times. We have a awsome record at the Gabba. Saw Shulz kick 6 there one night. Might t up your number Tugga and catch you for a beer if I make it.

For sure ... can't wait - been a few years since we played up here... hopefully Jack can kick another bag on the lions non-existent back line.

Pineapple before the game is the place to be ... short walk to the ground.

Absolutely pumped to the max!

As a Queensland based Tigers supporter, it's been far too long between trips to the Gabba. The GF is a passionate Lions supporter and will be there with me on the night, so can't wait to sit in the stands with the yellow and black and get amongst it.

I've got the club song on the iPod for the trip in the car their and certainly pumping for the trip home.

Car'n Tigers, eat em alive!!!!!!!!

Im in Sec 17, the Captain's Licenced area ;)

That's the cheersquad end isnt it?

And yeah its definitely been too long between drinks for us up here. Think the last game was just before Browny did his Leg... I remember Finals were looking on the cards. What a train trip home that was. While finals wont be on the cards, hoping for a similar train ride home.

* Actually recall us getting done by Adelaide recently at Cararra. Almost forgot it because I was so ****ing drunk.

Last game at the gabba was round 4 2006.

Only players playing this week who played in that game are :

Lids - 26th game
Jacko - 19th
newman - 80th
Bling - 15th
Tuck - 29th

raines also played that night.

I will be there with my squid and her best friend and watching the game with The Rusty Trombone (hopefully) and Nqtiger.

GO TIGES

Absolutely they let you on the ground, in fact...this week is there is a special kick 2 kick function put on by the Lions for everyone afterwards. From my understanding there are giveaways, competitions, etc.

Finally getting a chance to see the boys play live. Section 16. Behind the cheer squad I believe.

And wouldn't you believe it, lost my old jumper and the new one hasn't arrived in time for the game!!!

This will be my first trip to the gabba.

I flew to Melbourne to watch last weeks game at the MCG.

Hopefully two wins/songs in a row!
