Voted for Petrie, gone are the days when Harvey was our most important player. Dish is taking over the reigns with his ability to take a game into his hands and change the outcome. Next few years all the young guys will be looking to him in their development.

Wouldnt mind Harvey handing over the captaincy a year or so early like simpson did.

Theres a couple, but I voted for Big Mac. He's our backbone for the next seven or so years. Take him away and we could struggle. Same goes for Boomer we seen this year what a completely different team we are without him.

interesting responses so far

IMO it is andrew swallow easily

no simmo, no harro so if he goes down next year we are in deep shit no matter how high u rate ziebell or how great of a bloke firrito is

McIntosh. You really notice the difference when he is off the ground (or not playing at all). Hopefully with the emergence of Goldstein in the ruck we will become less reliant on his impact.

I agree with Drew Petrie. He has really stood up & you can see how much the young blokes look up to & respect him. Sometimes people need to know when to stand down. I love Boomer, but, haven't forgotten the Fiasco with his brother etc & really feel we need to make some hard choices/changes. Am very excited about our Future & think in a couple of years, if not sooner, we will really be a FORCE to be reckoned with. Cheers Blabs

Hard to say but when Swallow plays well we win.

His 20 touches equals most other players 30 touches.

Words can not describe how happy I am that he improved his game so much this year.

By far the biggest positive of 2009.
