The offer was upped to a figure still well below what the market was prepared to pay, so they low balled him twice told the world he wasn't worth anymore and have carried on like children now he's gone.

Fine for everyone to take potshots at him, no one has mentioned how he was complimentary to lever in the interview in regards to his preparation and dedication. I don't know about you but id want my captain or any other players to be disappointed if a young quality player wanted to leave. Sure he mucked up his words, but we all know what he was trying to say.

So he admitted Lever was a professional. If lever wasn't a pro tex would have packed his bags for him. Tex wasn't being nice when stating levers professionalism on record. He was validating his own tantrums about losing a great player. Get a grip!

I wouldn't get too upset about that - we all know that clubs meet players and/or player agents in mid-year. It's not as though Gold Coast just happened to contact Ablett at the end of the September 2010 (or, indeed, Adelaide to Betts or Bryce Gibbs) - it happens.

Or are his convictions only as such that he only worries about the stuff that affects him personally? Going after players from other clubs would be outright hypocrisy. I hope taylah actively encourages the recruitment team to not poach playere from other sides, lest he wish to be branded a hypocrite.

Hes not a key defender currently and don't believe he will ever be a good one. We tried him once this year as a key and he got a bath by daniher.
Fantastic as a third tall/interceptor not quite the quality of Rance or McGovern.
