Yes, I have some fun teasing Kennedy Parker and I hope he takes it in good spirit as I do his cracks at me.

I would like to see him post a bit more in match threads which IMLTHO is central to the enjoyment of most people. Who knows he might enjoy himself.

NaturalDisaster raised, to use Noobz term, obsessions with TJASTA, WaynesWorld19 and himself. Call it questionable taste but I am fond of ND and TJASTA. Both are terrific characters who put a lot of work into the joint and are intrinsic to the general fun of the place.

Wayneo is in a different category. It is a matter of regret he has a leadership role. From the sounds of it he is unable or unwilling to make sensible contributions as the Bombers' rep on the Sweet FA Committee. Even when I disagree with them I do not doubt the effort and good will the other 11 Club reps bring to the virtual table.

Oh and philreich suggested I might move to the Royals. I have my own approach and certainly would not be a good fit there.

My favourite flick about NI is a 50s film with Oz John Mills as the lead. Think it was called something like "The Hard Man". The setting was WW2.

One of the neat devices used is an old patriotic Englishman and equally venerable Irishman who end up locked in a shed together. The film cuts to the two ancients from time to time who throughout the movie to debate the cause of England v Ireland.

At the end of the flick and the last cut to the shed, the old English chap, reflecting on the Blitz and the War says, "The situation in England is serious but not hopeless."

The old Fenian responds in kind, "Aah but the situation in Ireland is always hopeless but never serious."

As an avid De Niro fan, I really should’ve watched it by now, but I haven’t, and I feel like I am doing my persona an injustice by not having watched it yet.
It’s not that I don’t want to, I just get a little embarrassed seeing myself on TV. I will get around to it though, I promise.
