Mark my words Wiggins has the skill , poise and decision making of a mexican drug lord , pencil it in Wiggins , football demigod and future AFL commissioner , the boy will go far.

i think some people are failing to see the humor in some posts, and are taking things a bit too serious

At State Level, Hodge, but outside of that, Wiggins has him covered.

As good as he is domestically, unfortunately, Hodge just doesn't seem to have the technique or temperate to translate his domestic dominance into International dominance.

Having his Mum whinge for him doesn't help either.

got them off club websites not sure if carltons has been updated but i would say hodge has had a better career so far

Stats are incorrect. You should amend them to this:

Wiggins brownlow votes in 2008: 2
Wiggins nickname: THE CHIEF

Hodge brownlow votes in 2008: 2
Hodge nickname: N/A

Wiggins is clearly superior in statistical analysis.

It has got to be Wiggins. Afterall he has won ...........

Has he ever won anything? A raffle maybe? Nope?

Ah well, at least he has a hot wife :D

I think this poll is an accuate reflection of where both players are at. Its only round 1 and the Wiggler's already won mark of the year and is in good shape to do the Brownlow Coleman Norm Smith trifecta. Go Wiggler!!!

Some of these polls are absolutely ridiculous.

I don't know why people think it's funny to rubbish champions and hold spuds up in such high regard.

Here we have two players that are clearly not even in the same league.

One an absolute gun. The personification of courage and skill, he is revered by AFL fans throughout the country.

The other an honest trier. He gives his best but he just doesn't really cut the mustard against the big boys of the competition. Outside his own club, supporters think of him as a kind of joke.

Wiggins by the length of the Flemington straight.

great post. wiggins is truly revolutionising football. loving the intelligence of some disgruntled posters!

Hodge is a hack that got lucky on GF day last year, Wiggins on the other hand is the greatest player our great game has ever known.

THe AFL has the Hall of fame and the legends status but once his career is finished, the AFL will instigate "deity" status and it's first & only inductee will be one S.Wiggins (Carlton)

Just traded Motlop for Wiggins because I am the least gullible person on BF.
Oh well, at least Wiggins is a fellow Glenorchy bogan.

Ridiculous to even put these two players in the same poll.

Insult to Wiggins.

Hang on, I was pretty sure Wiggins would comfortably win but, Hodge is a decent player and if he improves his fitness and ball finding skills he may be moved from his soft loose man position and get a chance in the middle.

I think we can all finally agree the little known trade when Carlton offered up Wiggins and Plunkett for Hodge in 2003 was a huge mistake that has now bitten the hawks on the ass. With those two guys in the hawks team would be no brainers for back to back flags maybe even three or four in a row.

Hahaha i love laughing at the stupid hawks. How could you not have seen the superstar that they were trying to give you.

Hahaha, I just voted to see the score, 60 to 40!!
Proof most people aren't even paying the thread the respect of opening it...

IMO the poll represents where each player is at right now. If hodge can show the same heart and dedication as wiggins has throughout his fantastic career he may become one of the elite also. Still has a long way to catch up to THE CHIEF though!
