His intent was bad, but the ump saw it and paid a kick. I think Bartel is lucky he did not get reported. He would have gone for sure. Hopefully same principal applies.

On one hand I don't think he intentionally meant to injure, but on the other it was pretty reckless. I'd 1 + 2 weeks, but not necessarily for that, just for being Cameron Mooney, as Rodion said.

I think he should get off but will probably cop one match.

I was very suprised that Robert Harvey didn't get sighted as I thought that his 'bump' on Timmy Callan was delivered with a lot more intent to injure than what Moonstars was.

There was no recklessness in Harves bump, both players were going hard at the ball and he hit him fairly, just the same as Mooney on Peckett.

Geez it ****es me off that he is even on report,

Fantastic game, two teams, hard at it, emotion, tension, sure free was there (didnt he get 50 as well?) enough is enough.

And as usual, AFL spoils it with soft report. Nothing wrong with a bit of agro, the guy wasnt even hurt. THe history and tradition of the game was built on this kind of stuff.

Leave the agro and emotion on the game, take it away and the game will not be the same anymore.

How did Harvey hit him fairly? He hit him in the head with his hip while Callan's head was over the ball

Maybe i need to choose my words more carefully. He hit him high so that doesnt constitue a fair bump. Nothing wrong with the technique and Callan put his head over the ball which was when contact was made.
