What's up with that?
I thought his form has been pretty good?

Thoughts?

Brown is in.
Remi doesn't give a single f**k about Schofield.
This pleases Remi.

Brown is a crab. Even an out of form Schofield would offer more value.
In saying that I really haven't noticed any particular bad performances from Schoey, maybe I haven't been watching him close enough? Or maybe I'm too distracted by him burning off opponents and taking long run and bounces.

Happy with this decision.
Has shown no desire for the contest this year and has coasted with ball in hand which has seen him caught too often.
If you don't bring intensity then don't expect to play.
Schofield has all the tools to be a really good player and was last year but if you're not switched on and wanting to be out there then you're a liability.
Sends an excellent message.
May end up playing because of Glass' fitness but this is the tap on the shoulder the entire playing group needs.

He is a third tall who doesn't provide enough run from the backline. Doesnt get enough posessions. And his defending hasn't been crash hot. 3rd talls need to help out, provide chopouts. So bit of all around.

I am not saying brown will get more possessions but deserves a go.

I would rather Schofield than Brown and Adam Selwood.

Are we trying to throw games?

A guy who may not be in the best form, but is good defensively, quick and has a huge boot, vs a guy who is amazingly error prone and possibly one of the slowest, most error prone players in our side.

Insanity.

He is an excellent third man up at marking contests, attacks the ball aggressively when on the deck and is versatile, in that he can match up fairly well on most talls and smalls.

He hasn't been in the best form, but both Brown and especially Selwood have leaked goals when playing.

Selwood isn't playing either

Little bit surprised.
Thought Schofield would make a good matchup for Westhoff, especially when he pushes up the ground, leaving EMac for Schultz and Glass to drift off whoever they have as their 3rd tall at the time.
But I guess the MC are making it clear that form is more important than reputation. With regard to Brown I think that's fair enough- it's pretty tough on the guy to say that no matter how well he plays in the seniors, he's going to get dropped, while allowing Schofield to get by playing average football.

Big task for Brennan/Butler to take Gray with Selwood out. Thought they might give McGinnity a crack.

Brown gets a bad rap because he comes in for one game, plays on the oppositions best forward, leaks a couple of goals and gets dropped because the injured player returns. He has done ok this year when played and if Schofield isn't performing then its only fair he gets a go.

His back, but he wasn't dropped.

However, neither he nor Brown have done the job defensively this season, let alone providing zero rebound from defence.
Well we have got rid of 2 of the 3 leaks. Schofield provides little rebound because his decision making and disposal are poor.

Also plays like Jane.
