Will Shane Mumford do a Lynch?

That was an insipid performance from Mumford. He needed to lead the way with his physicality at the centre bounces and he did absolutely nothing but get touched up by Nank/Soldo. I'm not saying go outside the rules but crunch in. He couldn't even get a cm off the ground to jump into his opponent.

Once Richmond got on top in the middle it was game over as the Giants had no way to get the ball out of their defensive 50. It was brutal, probably the most inept performance I've ever seen by a Grand Final side

He has always - ALWAYS - been astonishingly, amazingly, overrated. He got murdered by Grundy the week before but it seems no one noticed. Yet again, it's not 1970. Fake tough guys do not intimidate opposition sides in the slightest.

The Triple M commentators were acting like Mumford lined up Cotchin and took him out, they love their crappy narratives.

massive moment in the context of toughness, cotch smashed him and sent a message - don't even try that s**t today.

The guy has been a joke for several years as a hard man. Targeting smaller folk. Cotchin nailing him early was sweet, put him back in his place. When was the last time anyone saw him leave thecground, as in jumping? Giants getting him back, recruiting Deledio and Steve J are all signs of a club that knows not what it is doing.
