I live overseas so I haven't been able to see any pre season training, I rely on BigFooty and afl.com.au for all footy news. I really hope to see Ben Reid line up Round 1 after a stellar NAB cup. I think if he has an early impact he can play all 22 games and beyond this year. Could make a big impact down back.

If I was going to name one I would say Buckley as well. If Goldsack and Rusling have a good pre season they are both a good chance of playing round one.

the sack (this kid could be anything), the rusler (if he stays fir we will be laughing), and reid (needs time to adjust his game to the ones - this kid will be a revelation)should be definites barring injury...

jmac id expect to play as he is young highly touted player and barring a poor NAb or injury concern id expect to be well and truly in the mix...


buckley, well, i hope he impresses MM and co enough to make him a certain starter , however i expect 2-3 games in the vfl before he gets a call up and gets his chance this year...

dawes will need to be in blinding form or get in through an injury... would love to see him get a decent crack though

I have seen enough of him to know he is a VFL standard player, not AFL.

The biggest sleight one could make of him is that his father was a better player, and his father was mediocre.

It seems they read a post on a board from someone who has never seen Reid play and then go to another board and post as if they have first hand knowledge.
