Saw it on TV. Davies was good. I think he has limitations but at this point I’d much rather see him play than O’Bree. The commentators raved a bit about Travis but I though they were a bit OTT. If they said the conditions were made for McGough 1 more time I would have thrown something at the TV. Just a game from Travis although the conditions didn’t suit. The half backline and midfield gave him plenty of opportunities. Harry was good. Egan looked more poised than I have seen him before. He still drifts out of the game though. Also playing a straight ahead role down back against an average side is far easier than playing on ball or up forward. His skills held up in the wet though which is a good sign. Hall is like Walker. He just doesn’t know where it will go until it heads for him. Rowe I just can’t work out.
